And We made the House [the Ka'bah] a place of assembly and a sanctuary for mankind, [saying], "Make the

place where Abraham stood a place of worship." We commanded Abraham and Ishmael, "Purify My House for those who walk round it, those who stay there for devotion, and those who bow down and prostrate themselves."

And when Abraham prayed, "My Lord, make this city a city of peace, and provide its inhabitants with fruits, such of them as believe in God and the Last Day." God said, "As for those who deny the truth, I will grant them benefits for a short while and then subject them to the punishment of the Fire -- an evil destination."

And when Abraham and Ishmael were laying the foundations of the House, [they prayed], "Our Lord, accept this from us; for You are All Hearing, All Knowing. [al Baqara 2:125-127]

Perform the Hajj and the minor pilgrimage [umrah] for the sake of God. [2:196] It has been narrated by Sahl ibn Sad When a believer of Allah recites Talbiyah for Hajj or Umrah and says Labbaik, all the created things to his right and to his eft, whether they are lifeless stones and trees or lumps of mud, also say Labbaik with him, right up to the both ends of the earth. (Tirmidi, Ibn Majah)


Here I am (at Your service), O Allah! Here I am. No partner do you have. Here I am. Truly, the praise and the favour is Yours and the dominion; No partner do You have." Abu Hurayrah narrated that Rasulullah said Umrah becomes an atonement for the sins committed between one and the next Umrah. (Bukhari, Muslim) narrated by Abdullah ibn Masud and Jabir that Rasulullah said Perform Hajj and Umrah again and again for both remove poverty and sins in the same way as the furnace removes the impurities of gold, silver and iron. (Tirmidhi and Nasai) Abdullah ibn Abbas narrated that Rasulullah said The recompense of the Umrah performed in the month of Ramadan is equal to that of one Hajj. According to a Hadith Rasulullah said Performing Umrah in Ramadan is equal to performing Hajj with me. (Bukhari, Muslim) Ibn Umar (R) narrates that Prophet said, The warrior in the cause of Allah, the pilgrim and the one who is performing Umrah are all the delegation of Allah. He called them and they responded and they will ask of His bestowals and He will give it to them. (Ibn Majah) - some people have the misconception that if a person goes for umrah than Hajj becomes fardh on him. this has no basis! we have discussed Hajj is only fardh on that person who can afford it, has health and the means to get there.....why not spend a couple grand and go to umrah?! the Prophet said to Abu Dharr, who had stayed near the Kabah and its coverings for forty days and nights with no food or drink other than (Zamzam): How long have you been here? Abu Dharr said: I have been here for thirty days and nights. The Prophet SAWS (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, Who has been feeding you? He said, I have had nothing but Zamzam water, and I have gotten so fat that I have folds of fat on my stomach. I do not feel any of the tiredness or weakness of hunger and I have not become thin. The Prophet SAWS (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Verily, it is blessed, it is food that nourishes. [Muslim] When Abd-Allaah ibn al-Mubaarak went for Hajj, he came to Zamzam and said, O Allaah, Ibn Abil-Mawaali told us from Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir from Jaabir (may Allaah be pleased with him) that Your Prophet SAWS (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, The water of Zamzam is for whatever it is drunk for. I am drinking it to ward off thirst on the Day of Resurrection. The Prophet said: Were it not for avoiding inflicting difficulties on my

nation, I would have ordered them to use Sewak upon the performance of each prayer [Al-Bukhari & Muslim] REWARD OF SALAH IS 70 TIMES MORE!!! HOW BLESSED ARE WE THAT SITTING HERE IN SCHENECTADY, NY ALLAH HAS PROVIDED US WITH ZAM ZAM, DATES, AND SIWAAK FROM MECCA/MEDINA!!!! Thank Allah, Praise Allah, Glorify Allah - make dua for us...
