September 2012- January 2013 Goldsmith- Bench Jeweler Chris Ploof Designs/ Andrew Nyce Designs, Leominster, MA Making custom mokume-gane rings, metorite rings, and damascus steel rings. Forging, sizing, minor laser-welding skills, and expert level polishing involved. May 2011- June 2012 Studio Assistant- Andrew Nyce Andrew Nyce Designs, Cape Elizabeth, ME Making mokume- gane billets through fusing, bonding, hot forging, and patterning. August 2010- December 2011 Metalsmithing Technician Maine College of Art, Portland, Maine Maintaining the tools, equipment, and facilities in the MECA metals department. Also responsible for ordering supplies as well as the safe handling of all chemicals used in the department. April 2010- September 2010 Jewelers Assistant- Pamela Bosco Bosco Jewelry, Portland, Maine Forged metal to be used in rings, bracelets, and other jewelry accessories. I also soldered, filed, sanded, and polished the finished products.
