Samsung's Code of Ethics

SAMSUNG Electronics Co., Ltd. aims to create the world's best products and services through fair and transparent management. With the belief that we, the employees and managers of SAMSUNG Electronics Co., Ltd., and its subsidiaries, can make our company a world leader, we develop new technology and products based on the highest standards of business ethics and culture. To fulfill this aim, SAMSUNG Electronics has established the "SAMSUNG Code of Ethics" as the guiding principle of our conduct: There are four key relationships in SAMSUNG Electronics' business. These relationships involve creativity, fellow employees, suppliers, and the communities in which we operate. The following commitments serve as broad standards for shaping these relationships. - We regard customer satisfaction as our greatest value, and we, together with our fellow employees, suppliers and shareholders will maximize value, quality and property on the basis of mutual trust and respect. - We respect the cultures and customs of all the regions and nations in which we conduct business, and we act as a responsible corporate citizen. - We value self-discipline, a sense of responsibility, creativity, a challenging spirit, and fostering our sense of humanism and morality. Fundamental Duties Superior products and services SAMSUNG will create top-quality products and services through quality focused management. We will protect the interests of our customers. We will make product safety a top priority in order to prevent any physical or business damage to customers. For items warranting caution when using them, we will provide accurate explanations to customers so that they fully understand the contents of the products. We will protect and maintain the physical and intellectual property of customers to the same degree that we protect and maintain our own.
