Introducing the Edu$hysters of the week and they all hail from the great state of Michigan
Utica Community Schools, as the second largest district in Michigan, has always been a leader in education. Students have always had a high rate of success. In comparison to districts across the nation, Utica has always been financially healthy. Utica has been a wealth of potential for multiple facets of education, art and culture. However, many of these programs have been decimated to cater to the special interests of profiteers and politicians.

Board President Klenow and Superintendent Johns: A pair who appear to disregard ethical conflicts and the best interests of students in favor of corporate profits.
So much money, so little time.

UCS School Board President Carol Klenows Ethical Conflicts

Board President Klenow is the Program Administrator for Oakland County Virtual Learning Academy. $$$$$$$$$$$
Rather than allocating per pupil dollars to UCS students, the Governor allocates this funding to UCS School Board Presidents Virtual Learning Academy.

School Board President Klenow was appointed by Governor Snyder as a state certified Emergency Financial Manager.

President Klenow owns a human resources consulting company called Oakridge Consulting

Klenow Eliminated classes in UCS that are now offered through her Virtual Learning Academy

Klenow was appointed by Governor Snyder to the State Officer Compensation Board, which determines the wages and perks of the Governor, key officers & state legislatures

Klenow can take over any financially stressed district in the state.

Profiting by selecting administrators for UCS and neighboring districts

In addition to having her own HR firm, she is an associate of another HR firm called School Exec Connect

Hired Broad School Superintendent, Christine Johns, to dismantle public education in Utica Community Schools

While Klenow determines the Governor's wage, he and his cabinet work to pass measures to aid & support virtual learning academies like Klenow's

Emergency Managers are some of the highest paid administrators in the state

Exect Connect Human Resource Firm's function is to find and place administrators in surrounding districts.
