STRUCTURE OF MINIMALIST HOME

Dinding muka hunian didominasi oleh jendela kaca lebar dan sebagian dinaungi oleh bidang penyekat luar (secondary skin) dari batang aluminium untuk meredam teriknya cahaya matahari. Desain ini berhasil menciptakan permainan tiga dimensi sekaligus menghasilkan bayang-bayang yang unik dari cahaya matahari.

Eksperimen Struktur dan Ruang Dalam proses desain rumah minimalis ini, arsitek bereksperimen dengan struktur yang mengekspos tiang dan balok baja profil di dinding belakang hunian serta menerapkan bidang kaca lebar untuk berbagai

elemen mulai dari pagar balkon, jendela sampai kanopi. Konsep desain ini berhasil memaksimalkan sirkulasi udara segar dan memaksimalkan masuknya cahaya alami ke dalam hunian serta menghemat konsumsi energi listrik. Arsitek juga memasang lift berukuran kecil di dekat meja pantri yang memudahkan pemilik rumah untuk mengantar makanan ataupun mengantar piring dan gelas kotor dari ruang makan di lantai satu ke dapur kotor di lantai dasar. Detail arsitektur lain adalah pagar balkon yang dirancang menembus jendela kaca dan menerus ke pagar tangga. Ada pula detail berupa lubang udara pada dinding kaca dekat plafon yang disekat oleh kawat ram. Desain Interior Furnitur built-in seperti partisi dan kabinet berlapis HPL motif serat kayu di ruang menonton TV serta kabinet pantri berlapis duco warna hitam putih turut melengkapi penataan desain interior. Sebagai aksen, desainer melapisi beberapa bidang dinding dengan wallpaper bermotif unik dan berwarna cerah terutama di kamar-kamar tidur yang diolah dengan tema tertentu. Soft furnishing berupa gorden dan vitrage jendela, bedcover cantik serta foto-foto keluarga di dinding menambah nyaman hunian ini. Tata cahaya (lighting) juga menjadi perhatian arsitek dan desainer interior agar tercipta suasana hangat dan efek dramatis terutama di malam hari seperti dengan memakai lampu jenis indirect lighting pada plafon gantung dan lampu meja dengan model mutakhir.
