Nigel Ward & Gary Brown Nigel shared his ideas for a campaign progress and I modified his template to make it more flexible for about any campaign. The guidelines below still leave quite a bit open to interpretation, but still provide a sufficient framework for conducting a career campaign.
REGIONAL LEVEL
Professional career starts here 10 Bouts of 4 rounds against randomly chosen opponents from the regional list. Depending upon the win/loss/draw record we determine which if any the regional champions should be faced (if any). If a perfect record of 8 - 0 - 0 is attained the boxer immediately qualifies to fight the Regional Champ RECORD 9*0*1 9 *1*0 8 *0*2 8*1*1 8*2*O 7*0*3 7*1*2 7*2*1 7*3*0 6*0*4 6*1*3 6*2*2 6*3*1 6*4*0 5*0*5 5*1*4 5*2*3 5*3*2 5*4*1 5*5*0 FACE

Champions are randomly chosen after the ten bout series. Or the eight bout series if a perfect record. Negative records Any record of 4 wins or less will mean that the boxer will have to start the ten bout series again. And again if necessary until you become elligible to face the regional champ. REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP FIGHTS Take place over 6 rounds of boxing. If the players boxer wins the title fight he is elevated into the NATIONALS. He will keep his title only if he defends it, these 'defences' are against random regional opponents and occur once per boxing year. The player boxer may relinquish his title via choice with no detrimental effects. If the player should
lose a 'defence' of his regional title, this would not effect his 'NATIONAL's RECORD'. It will only impact on his OVERALLRECORD. (Note: Defences of Regional belts are 6 Round Affairs) If the player should lose his initial regional championship bout, he may challenge the Local Circuit Champ. Again these bouts only would effect his OVERALL RECORD. If he were to fail against the Local Circuit Champion (lowest value belt), he would then have to start a new series of ten bouts.
NATIONAL LEVEL
Once your boxer has defeated a regional champ he makes it into the nationals! He will start of by facing 6 random opponents from the national list over 6 rounds. At this point he may also undertake a defence of his regional belt if he wishes -a defence that will not effect his national record. After those initial 6 bouts he will have a further 8 but this time over eight rounds. With again Another possible defence of his regional belt. So, now your boxer will have fought 14 national fights with perhaps one or two defences of his regional belt. Although if your boxer should go 10 * 0 * 0 at NATIONAL LEVEL ONLY he will be eligible to fight the NATIONAL CHAMPION early. Otherwise after the 14 bouts study the table below to see if you are eligible for promotion to the CONTINENTAL CLASS. TKL Definition: Technical Knockout Limit. This occurs whenever a fighter has taken a number of TKO points equalling his TKO rating in a fight. This does not necessarily mean that he was TKO'd or even lost the fight. It just means that the fighter was pushed to his limit. Each time this happens, ncrease the fighter's effective age by 1.
