Claimed complaint: An image (page) from a confidential and copyrighted private report of IIPM on its private earnings. Rebuttals 1. Unauthorised complainant:

As per public records from the Govt of India public database, the data quoted is from the annual report of a company called Planman Media Private Limited It is not from any report published by any organization called IIPM which is what your complainant claims to represent.

Further, the complainant, some person claiming to be Ananthanarayanan Sandeep does not appear to hold any post of authority in the publisher of the data, Planman Media Private Limited. Hence the complainant does not seem to be either the publisher of the content or authorized to represent them in any way. Hence this complaint may be taken to be false and a clear misrepresentation.
2. Public and non-confidential nature of material The material is claimed to be confidential and copyrighted The claim is provably false. This data is the annual report of a company as filed with the registrar of companies, Govt Of India and as accessible to the public legally and openly through any internet connection. The excerpt published is from one of these documents. To summarise: It is a demonstrably public document, and not private in any form. It is from a public government database, and hence individual copyright is not applicable to the document accessed. The complaint is clearly false, misleading and misinformed. Action requested: Please immediately restore full access to visibility of the document published, as doing otherwise would be clearly illegal under DMCA and the laws in force.
