Twenty two people left their 10th choice as VACANT, larger than the total number of votes garnered by both Mr. Dela Cruz and Mr. Garciano. Incumbent Home minister Faye Abrihan has intimated that she is declining her nomination and is leaving her slot vacant. As per the rules of succession agreed upon by the Second Council, the succeeding council will be left to decide the fate of the two slots during their deliberations. The deliberations will occur Saturday evening (Feb 23) up until Sunday (Feb 24). During these deliberations, the succeeding council will decide amongst themselves their final composition.
