TODAY Welcome! This morning, Pastor Steve continues our sermon series on 1 Peter called Far from the Home I Love. Our benevolent offering today is designated for the Cedar Deacons Fund. 11:00 AM Sunday School & Small Groups for All Ages 4:00 PM Instrument Ensemble rehearsal 5:30 PM Evening Service THIS WEEK Wednesday Midweek Ministries @ 7 PM HCS Thursday Love INC Bible Study @ 7 PM Hillcrest CRC Saturday Baby Shower @ 11 AM- HCS Library ANNOUNCEMENTS 5 Weeks Until Easter Sunday! The elders of Cedar invite you, your friends and your loved ones to join us on Easter Sunday, March 31st, from 9:00 AM 10:00 AM for a special breakfast to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our morning worship service will be held at 10:30 AM and there will be no Sunday School that day. Choir Rehearsal Its not too late to be a part of the musical ministry of Cedar for Easter. The choir meets the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month, so there are only two more rehearsals. Please be sure and join the choir next Sunday afternoon at 4PM. Baby Shower A baby shower is planned for this Saturday, March 2 to welcome Xavier Weiss and Evelyn Scaturro to Cedar. Ladies of all ages are invited to attend this celebration at 11 AM in the library of HCS. If you are able to help with refreshments, please sign up at the table today. See Cathy Postmus for details. Please Reserve Last Two Rows of Chairs Cedar session would request that the congregation reserve the final two rows of chairs in the gymnasium for visitors, late comers and families with small children. We hope this helps us serve the needs of our growing church family.

ANNOUNCEMENTS Womens Ministry Coordinator Meeting - On March 7, at 7PM, the committee coordinators and their assistants are invited to Deb Grysens home for a mid-year evaluation. Please be sure and come with questions, suggestions and reports of successes. Lets encourage one another in our service to Cedar. Cadet Father/Son Campout March 8-9 the Cadets are inviting all of the men and boys of Cedar to join them at Rush Creek Campground. The group will be leaving the school at 6 p.m., and staying in one of the heated buildings at the campground. Sign up at the table in the gym. See Tom Dykema if you have any questions. Cedar Girls Club Retreat The annual retreat is scheduled for April 12-14 at Sandy Beach Cottage on Lake Macatawa. Registration forms will be available at club this Wednesday. This is always a fun and enriching time! Youth Group Mission Trip - Mark your calendars now! You dont want to miss this opportunity to serve and encourage a fellow OPC congregation. June 23-29 the youth group will be traveling to Manistee to help out the OP church plant there by reaching out to the community in various ways, including leading a VBS program. More details will be coming soon. Jehovah Jireh Ministries There is an immediate need for volunteers in two areas: Truck drivers (Chauffer or CDL) to do a local run on Wednesday or Friday afternoons, and food sorters/ dividers to help once or twice a month b/w 2-5 pm on Thursdays. Blood Drive - Jamestown Christian Reformed Church at 1653 Riley St., Hudsonville is sponsoring a blood drive on Mar. 11 from 3-7 PM in their Activity Building. Please help save lives by donating! If you need any assistance, please ask one of our greeters for help. SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE Cedar Church strives to enjoy God through Spirit-empowered and Christ-centered worship. The Bible is sincerely loved, and we hope that you will find it opened up to you in a fresh and faithful manner each Sunday. 0-3 NURSERY is available near the entrance of the gymnasium, but children are always welcome in the worship service. A CRY ROOM equipped with speakers is available in the teacher's lounge for those who would like to hear the service while caring for a little one. COFFEE BREAK After morning worship, please join us in the gym for coffee and refreshments. A KIDS BREAK for all kids (pre-school thru 6th grade) is in the orchestra room with snacks and singing with Mrs. Himebook. SUNDAY SCHOOL - From 11 AM-12 PM, Cedar Church offers classes for all ages. Visitors are especially welcome to join us!
