Study about: The foreign policy between Great Britain and USA

For the beginning I would say that a country's foreign policy is also called the foreign relations policy, consists of self-interest strategies chosen by the state to safeguard its national interests and to achieve its goals within international relations environment. BritishAmerican relations encompass many complex relations over the span of four centuries, beginning in 1607 with Englands first permanent colony in North America called Jamestown, to the present day, between the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the United States of America. The United States is bound to the Great Britain by shared history, a common language and legal system, culture, which can be traced back hundreds of years, including kindred, ancestral lines among English Americans, Scottish Americans, Welsh Americans, and Scotch-Irish Americans. Also the American-British relationship has been marked by close friendships and working alliances between top leaders. These include the links between Prime Minister Winston Churchill and President Franklin Roosevelt, Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and President Ronald Reagan, and Prime Minister Tony Blair and President George Bush. Today, the relationship with the United States represents the "most important bilateral partnership" in current British foreign policy and the American foreign policy affirms its relationship with the United Kingdom as its most important bilateral relationship, as evidenced in aligned political affairs, mutual cooperation in the areas of trade, commerce, finance, technology, academics, as well as the arts and sciences; the sharing of government and military intelligence, and joint combat operations and peacekeeping missions carried out between the United States Armed Forces and the British Armed Forces. The UK has always been the biggest foreign investor in the USA and vice versa. The two countries combined make up a huge percentage of world trade, a significant impact of the cultures of many other countries and territories, and are the largest economies and the most populous nodes of the Anglosphere, with a combined population of over 370 million as of 2010. Together, they have contributed to the importance of the English language in the world today. The United States and United Kingdom share enormous trade and economic relations. Each country is among the other's top trading partners. On the diplomatic front, both are among the founders of the United Nations, NATO, World Trade Organization, and a host of other international bodies. The U.S. and U.K. remain as two of only five members of the United Nations Security Council with permanent seats and veto power over all council actions. As such, the diplomatic, economic, and military bureaucracies of each country are in constant. So, I can say that UK policy, as well as U.S. policy is well developed, because they have links almost with every country in the world. USA is one of the biggest powers in the world, its policy is based on mutual working relationship, it has many natural treasures, the military has a very high potential, etc. Thus, therefore I can say, that foreign policy in the UK and U.S is closely dependent on each other, sharing the same language and thus distributed over whole world.
