***Note: Teams will be scheduled into skills at different times. It is the coaches responsibility to make sure their team runs trhough a skill at their designated time. They will not be allowed to run through a skill if they arrive outside of their scheduled time. Teams of similar age groups will run through each skill at the same time.

Dual Glalom
U6 and U8 Racers

Entry of teams of 6-10 racers (if entry smaller than 6, ROC reserves the right to group racers with other clubs) This year races will be grouped based on ability levels and teams should be entered as green, blue, or black All racers on a team should be the same ability level and boys and girls should be mixed together. If not, the team will be placed in the highest ability level on the team. If entering multiple teams within a level they should be balanced so that their average time would be similar 2 runs per racer (one each on red/blue course) Fastest 6 times averaged to determine placing Medals for top three teams per level and participation medals for all 2 runs per racer, best combined time Medals for top three racers, ribbons for top 10 based on year of birth and gender racers will be grouped in the start list based on their coach (so all racers with the same coach will be kept together)

Apres Ski Party


There will be an Apres Ski Party from 2:30-4:30 pm on Friday in front of the Sun Peaks Alpine Club. Hang out with your friends, have your face painted, visit with Uncle Chris the Clown, and listen to some great music. Snack food will be for sale. Awards on Friday will be held at 5:00 pm in the village by the bottom of the pomalift.

Lunch:
Hotdogs and other goodies will be on sale at the clubhouse for all racers and families. $5 a meal (hotdog, chips or granola bar, and juice). Additional items will be sold a la carte.

Lift Tickets:

Racers 40% off regular day rate 1 complimentary coach ticket per 8 racers (no exceptions) 25 % off regular day rate for those with seasons passes from reciprocal hills (check with resort as to which hills qualify) Volunteers receive free lift pass and lunch Lift tickets will be available at guest services until 6:00 pm Thursday March 21st Bentos ticket window will open early at 7:30 am on Friday and Saturday

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE GRADE 4/5 SNOWPASSES WILL BE BLACKED OUT FOR MARCH 22nd-23rd.

DETAILED SCHEDULE WILL BE SENT OUT TO ALL CLUBS PRIOR TO THE EVENT.

Wrap up the season with a fun filled Festival at Sun Peaks Resort, including an exciting program of racing and skill testing events: moguls, jumping, RCMP speed trap & a skills course. Socialize with Nancy Greene at the race hill. Shell be available for photos and autographs. Make sure to watch out for Uncle Chris the Clown, who will be joining you on the slopes!

2nd Annual ROCKn ROLL DUAL for U14 and U16 Athletes Friday March 22, 2013
Held in conjunction with our Annual Hub International Nancy Greene Festival Hosted by The Sun Peaks Alpine Club & Sun Peaks Resort Welcome to our 2nd Annual Rockn Roll Dual for U14 and U 16 athletes! We hope youll join us for a rockn good time at Sun Peaks Resort. Athletes receive a day of training on Friday, March 23rd prior to the FUN race! Location: Sun Peaks Resort Dual hosted by the Sunpeaks Racers on Sunbeam (just off the pomalift by the village) Training on Suncatcher off of the Sundance Chair Events: Training camp 8:30 am-1pm on Suncatcher Rockn Roll Dual at 6 pm on Sunbeam right after the Hub International Nancy Greene Festival awards Dress up as your favourite rocker! When racers arrive they will be asked to register their rocker name! Eligibility: U14 and U16 Athletes registered with BC Alpine (NG racers are not eligible to race in this event)
