, is the largest amusement park in India located near Bidadi, 28 kilometers from Bangalore. It has been promoted by the well-known V-Guard Group. It is the second theme park project from the group and has been operational since October 2005. It has been set up with a total investment of over Rs. 105 crores. Within a short span of two-and-half years, Wonderla has captured the attention of Karnataka with a foot fall of about 20-lakh visitors and still counting. Wonderla is unique in that it is a park for people of all ages. The heart throbbing thrilling rides, mellow family rides, the refreshing water rides, a spectacular musical fountain and laser show, and even a beautifully themed lazy river, all adding to its variety. Again, a prime area of focus is safety and cleanliness within the park. SPECIALITIES OF WONDERLA Unique architecture with massive buildings and castles finished with red granite. 27 land based rides including a variety of high quality imported rides built to international safety standards. Panoramic Sky wheel of 30Metres diameter on top of a 50Metres tall tower. The total height of the tower with Sky wheel is 80Metres from the ground. Indias biggest INDOOR Musical fountain AND LASER SHOW, with Hi- Fi sound and a seating capacity of 760 people. 48 Seat VIRTUAL REALITY THEATER with high definition video projection system, and surround sound. 26 Water based attractions, including different types of water slides, 2 WAVE POOLS and 2 play-pools with play areas and slides. Separate pools for ladies and kids. Facilities: HEATED WATER will be provided for Wave pools and play-pools etc in winter months. Also, heated water is provided in showers in changing rooms. The water is mainly heated using EVACUATED TUBE SOLAR PANELS, as well as a diesel heating system as backup. Five multi cuisine restaurants they are Greens, Waves, Chillies, Fountain and Park View run by well-known caterers with reasonable rates for the quality/quantity assured food. Also serves banquet menu for corporate events and parties.

A huge indoor auditorium with a seating capacity of 800 people with stage, green room, stage lighting and Hi- Fi sound system for conference/meeting/parties. Park conforms to fire safety regulations and has adequate fire fighting equipment like fire extinguishers etc. The entire park is protected from lightning with 30M high lightning towers. Reverse Osmosis plant to remove hardness for entire water supply in the park. Full-fledged water quality assurance laboratory. On line filtration for pool water with individual filtration equipment for each pool. The water in each pool is re-circulated and filtered every three hours. Also, each pool features an online Ozone treatment system. Roof Water Collection Tanks for the collection of Rain Water. Rain Water Harvesting Tank with the storing capacity of 108 lakh liters of water. 2500 KVA full back up power generation system. ISO 14001:2004 & OHSAS 18001:2007: Bureau Veritas Certification (India) Private Limited has awarded Wonderla with ISO 14001:2004 certification for formulating and implementing policies and procedures which prevent degradation of environment due to the organisation's operation, product and activities and OHSAS 18001:2007 certification for its strict compliance to international safety standards in its land and water rides.
