A Parable

The story involves in a classroom setting wherein students are not at ease of the lesson about global independency and issues. The teacher emphasize that in the true world or when they become adult, it is important to be aware of current global issues like terrorism, ethnic conflict, social inequality and environmental destruction than learning tracing the past since it will teach how people will survive and unite with concerns to peace and globalization. The teacher introduces Global education in which it promotes the knowledge, attitude and skills relevant for citizenship in global age since our planet faces serious global issues. Teaching for a better world, keeping students aware of Global Issues and how to address them since youth is hope of our future. 2. Proverb

Kuan Tzu's proverb gives importance on education as the capacity of mankind to sustain life not only for a day or years ahead but for long term period. This signifies that education is the best protection against poverty. Being aware and sharing knowledge to other people is significant to the humankind improvement. 3. Dear Teacher

The open letter states the importance of morality curriculum in education. Schools were created to make rigtheousneous citizens. Morals and ethics must be firmly implanted at the same time as skills/tools to create better humanity. 4. Diagram

The diagram illustrates this interdependence of developmental education, human rights education, environmental edcuation, peace education and multicultural education. The circle inside shows the relevance of educational field for empowerment, social progress for all, survival of the world and its people, involvement and action and wordwide justice. Developmental education gives emphasis to rights for sustainable development and to healthy environment and peace. Human Rights education constitutes an essential contribution to the long-term prevention of human rights abuses to achieve a just society in which all human rights of all persons are valued and respected. Environmental education encourage greater responsiblity, care and respect for the natural resources of the world. Peace education was addressed by means of search of justice and absence of war. Multicultural education is simply to eliminate the cultural biases and able to accept culture of different societies. Environmental education aims to bring these questions to public attention, and to encourage greater care and respect for the natural resources of the world.
