The purpose of this assignment is for you to give me information that will help me be the
best possible teacher for you. Choose ONE of the following writing assignments:

1.) DEAR JEN…Write me a letter that will help me work with you this year. What
do you think I need to know about you in order to help you learn? Where do you shine,
and where can I help you to shine? What would you like me to know about you? Your
letter should be at least one page in length.

2.) IF I RULED THE SCHOOL…Think about teachers you have had and classes in
which you have taken part. Now describe your ideal class. What happens in this class?
What is the teacher like? What are the students like? What are you like? Your
description should be at least one page in length.

3.) WANTED: ONE GOOD TEACHER…Write a personal ad for the ideal teacher.
