Overview
The coming years will witness a fast global growth of the mobile telephone subscribers, which are expected to exceed 2 billion in 2008, 1.7 times the current number. The locomotive of subscriber growth has changed from the mobile telephone replacement by the subscribers in some developed countries such as America, Europe and Japan to the mushrooming emerging markets in China, India, Russia and Brazil. Propelled by the influential growth of the mobile telephone market, the global electronic component market and high-tech industries will achieve a new round of growth. By the end of 2003, the number of global mobile telephone subscribers had exceeded 1.2 billion. Nokia of Finland, the largest mobile telephone manufacturer in the world, once predicted that the number of global mobile telephone subscribers would exceed 2 billion in 2010. However, a latest study has showed this prediction would come true two years earlier. Now it is predicted that the above-mentioned four major emerging mobile telephone markets will contribute half of the 0.8 billion newcomers in the coming few years. The mobile telephone subscribers in India, with a population over 1 billion, has undergone the fastest growth in the world, from 10 million at the end of 2002 up to 28 million in 2003 attributed to the opening of mobile telephone market, which was monopolized by the state-owned telecom company, its domestic tycoon. Gartner, an American market research company, predicts that the number of Indian mobile telephone subscribers would exceed o.1 billion with a popularity rate of 10%. What will this huge market yield? Judging from the present ARPU (Average Revenue per User), the mobile income in speech is obviously going downhill. The market is increasingly developing its low-end mobile telephone subscribers, but is suffering a slow growth of the high-end subscribers with large-volume traffic. Therefore, it is indispensable for a mobile communications company to develop multiple profitable channels in an attempt to reinforce its leading position in the market. At present, however, the fierce competition in the mobile market makes it unavoidable to face the challenges from other operators and their new services. If an enterprise wants to survive and grow, it is a must to develop value-added services as well as new services. In a word, the operators must vary their policies with different consumption communities. Internationally, the operators provide consumers with large quantities of services such as games, animated cartoons, music and multi-media information, and gain more in return from each of them. Anyone who has been to Japan and South Korea, where mobile telephones are favorite tolls of their youth, are unexceptionally impressed by their intense mobile telephone culture. Color Ring Back Tone (CRBT) is a new value-added service that allows the mobile telephone subscribers to customize their own ring-back tones. If a subscriber succeeds in requesting this service, his/her mobile telephone, when called, will no more respond with monotonous beeping ring-back tones but some humanized response tones such as a wonderful music melody or an callers warm greeting. Until now, the CRBT service has been rapidly developed on the traditional PSTN, GSM and CDMA networks, and brings a new service growth to operators. With the development of core network, it will be migrated from TDM to be IP based network. In order to meet the operators requirement, ZTE offers IP based CRBT solution. This solution can be smoothly migrated to provide the video based Multi-media RBT in the near future upon the core network having the capability to support video service. Unified IP based RBT platform supports CDMA2000/WCDMA/IMS/NGN networks.
ZTEs CRBT brand name ZTE MyRing is a proven personalized service in the major markets such as in China, Singapore, Greece, India, Pakistan, Nepal , Bangladesh & Africa. It is rich in features and provides easy to use interface and management for operators, content providers & users.

Security Solution
ZTE MyRing System is designed for High reliability and availability.
4.4.1
4.4.2
4.4.3
Core Server: We can set the overload control of the core server as four levels, such as:
15
Level 1: the lowest level, 90% of calls are passed, means 1 call is rejected out of 10. Level 2: 80% of calls are passed, means 2 calls are rejected out of 10. Level 3: 60% of calls are passed, means 4 calls are rejected out of 10. Level 4: 50% of calls are passed, means 5 calls are rejected out of 10.
The principle of the overload control is mainly based on the system running traffics and system resources occupancy: The CPU occupancy of core server: level 1, 75%; level 2, 80%; level 3, 85%; level 4, 90%. Messages per second overstocked: level 1, 100; level 2, 200; level 3, 300; level 4, 400.
We made the count based on these parameters. Suppose, M/N is weighting analysis figure. Here M is the CPU occupancy and N is the overload messages per sec. then the standard is as below:
Table 3
Overload control
M <75% N<100 100 N <200 200 N <300 300 N <400 400 Normal Level 1 Level 2 Level 3 Level 4
IMP Server: Each IMP server ( includes provisioning IMP, charging IMP, etc) has its own flux control and can configure volume per sec. when exceeding the threshold, the system will automatically buffer for the messages for later processing.
Web Server: The volume control is depending on L4 Switch (F5), system will dynamically assign average load to each web server via F5, F5 has system level volume threshold control strategy, when exceeding certain load, system will refuse more operation requests automatically.
