You have created 2 high-quality, 8x10” or larger final prints for this assignment.
The ego print should present your subject candidly, using pose/gesture, portrait lighting, and composition to
emphasize this person’s genuine personality and character.
The alter ego print should present an alternate personality of your subject by using pose/gesture, make-up/props,
portrait lighting, and composition to exaggerate or emphasize this other personality in a unique or interesting way.
Both prints have been made from high quality negatives/digital exposures that are well-focused, high resolution, and
clean & clear.

show the form of the face.
The print is clean and clear. You have cleaned your negatives before printing with them.

The negative has been properly loaded and focused with the enlarger.
You have used additional printing techniques like dodging/burning and filters if necessary.

and/or consistent (Alter Ego) by adjusting hue/saturation and color balance correctly.
All other Photoshop tools have been used intentionally and effectively. There are no visible indicators that
Photoshop has been used to alter the image unintentionally.

Both prints represent care and craftsmanship in all aspects of their creation.
Both prints have been carefully printed, avoiding dirt, dust, or other unwanted marks and scratches.
Both prints have been carefully trimmed and matted. Black and white prints have been centered and mounted onto
carefully cut matte-board, and digital prints have been effectively spray mounted onto foam-core.
