To the city of Zion: Ive been in town on and off since December 7th.

I recently returned on December 23rd and I will be here for about two months. I am not hard to find. At this point in time I would like to get to the point at hand. My son was killed in the commissions of a robbery with a weapon (Home Invasion). The penalty of the crime is death or life in prison. My son was 16 years old. He was not dumb or stupid and knew nothing of my past other than what people told him. He has a juvenile record for theft etc. of which I open to the public because we have nothing to hide!!! Lets take a step backwards. In June or July of 2006 Mr. Darr was robbed of a shipment or order on tennis shoes. Mr. Darr being on an on-line businessman as he was at the time failed to report this theft to the Zion police department. He also failed to report that Greg and Mark was involved in that robbery. Again I remind you that Mr. Darr (Duffy) have been knowing the Davis family since the 1950s. The shoes were sold as far as North Chicago. In July or August Mr. Fields and my son Gerrell almost fought in front of my son Phillip over those shoes. Mr. Fields felt that Gerrell got a bigger cut. More risk more money. This crime was committed with out a gun. My son is a burglar/sneak thief; you can look at his records. In the streets my son would put his hands up and slay you or loose like a man. Believe that! The apple doesnt fall far from the tree. You know Shorty did the same. In September I got a call saying some one shot at Gerrell once or twice. My nephew and sister called me, I then came home in October and took my son to Milwaukee for the weekend. We began to work on a plan to bring him to Baltimore. He needed a man to teach him how to be a man. Shaun did her job. I was coming back in December to start the next phase. The next call I received was December 2, 2006, my son was shot. A phone call 1 hour later said that my son was dead. I came into town December 6th. I attempted to speak to Officer Brian Fiene and he told me nothing. I saw Lt. Dent at 6:30 AM, Friday morning to discuss my sons death. Till this day, he has not given me any update on this case. I gave him Mark Fields and Greg name prior to their arrest. Im the snitch. This is my version of what happened: Mr. Darr got revenge for being robbed by Gerrell in July. The newspaper was quick to draw the connection between my sons, Gerrell Davis and Gerald Davis. They neglected to tell you that Mr. Darr, Mr. Fields, and Greg is all related. (See the twist?) Would he shoot the nephew or grandson? A stranger looks good, the only thing he didnt know was that the stranger was my son!!!

TIME LINE Gerrell was a party that night. No one heard Gerrell discussing the robbery. He was seen leaving the party with Greg between 9:15 and 9:30 PM. The robbing was at 10PM. Shaun received a phone call by a child between 10:12 and 10:15 PM saying that Gerrell has been shot twice and hes on the way to the hospital. The police didnt call nor did the hospital. Shaun was not permitted to attend to or see Gerrell the entire time he was in ER prior to his death. Police were in the back questioning Gerrell with out a parent or guardian while he was still fighting for his life. Statements in the paper says that Mr. Darr received the hand gun in question because the owner was having problems at home and Mr. Darr was holding it (A LOADED HANDGUN). Bullshit!!!!!!!! Mr. Darr received the gun 2-3 weeks after the burglary of his van in July 2006. Ravon Duffy told Gerald Davis (his brother, my son) this on the phone prior to my arrival December 6th. If Mr. Darr was holding a gun for safe keeping why was the gun loaded, ready to fire and easily assessable. In the state of Maryland a gun must be put in a lock box or have a trigger lock on it. Neither applied in this case at hand. My Question: whose fingerprints was on the bullets that killed my son? Was it Mr. Darr, Mrs. Darr, or the owners, because neither Mr. nor Mrs. Darr fingerprints should have been on the bullets. The gun was for safe keeping so it should have been empty. Lt. Dents words were, Does it really matter? My answer, Yes it does. I have the conversation on tape. When you buy a gun from the store it has no bullets. Mr. Darr is an ex-felon the same as me. We are not allowed to have guns. In the state of Maryland it is 5 years for each bullet, I dont know what it is here in the state of Illinois. I asked whose fingerprints were on the 22.riffles bullets, again, no answer, and no reply. The dead cant speak for themselves thats why Im speaking for my son Gerrell. I am the individual who put the roses on the doorstep of Mr. Darr and the Nation on Islam Center. I told the brothers at the center why I left them. I also left an information packet and a card letting them know that I wasnt looking for trouble, only the truth!! I sent the same information to the Zion Police Dept., Waukegan News Sun, and CeaseFire. What you do in the dark come to the light. Other Questions and concerns I have are as follows: Why werent gun residue samples taken from all the people in the house? How much blood was lost at the scene? How long did it take to loose this amount? When was 911 call made? What was the response time of the ambulance? If Mr.&Mrs. Darr run a legal ebay business where are the taxes for 2005 and 2006, what was the gross and net of those years? Do you have an inventory list? Any customer receipts? Where do you purchase your products? Do you have a federal tax I.D. #? Do you have a states sell and use tax number? Ive been in business for ten years and these are just a few of the things required. If someone bought defective products what is the consumers course of action? NIKE or Mr. Darr? Lt. Dent can you please answer these questions? You know my number, could you please call me. You might want to pass this information to the IRS and State of Illinois sales and use tax division. I pay over $30,000 a year in taxes to the state of Maryland and another $10,000 to the IRS. I am also required to have insurance, so Mr. Darr should also have business insurance to cover his customers for any mishaps in his home while conducting business. The News Sun has constantly made the Darr Family out to be the victim. Pastor Caples gave a sermon on New Years Eve, The Simplicity of Truth. Truth is, let Mr. &Mrs. Darr answer 10 questions on a lie detector. If they pass Ill go back to Baltimore, if not, let justice be served. Not by my hands but by my words.

I cooperated with the police the best that I can. They have not given me any thing to give me peace. Why would Gerrell break into a house when he knows there are people there with a 22? Long riffle? If you rob someone you do it with a handgun or shotgun, a riffle can not control a crowd. A 22. Riffle is used for shooting squirrels and rabbits; it wouldnt have a big impact on a human being. In my opinion Mr. Darr, Greg, and Mr. Fields planned to kill my son over some tennis shoes. Mrs. Darr took the weight. The police were looking for Gerrells cell phone and the cell phone records. Well why not look for Mr. Darr, Greg, and Mr. Fields phone records also. Not just since the day of the murder but since the robbery in July. Mr. Darr found out who robbed him and took justice into his own hands. If he knew that Gerrell was my son he should have contacted me and I would have taken care of his debt. He was quick to make the connection in the newspaper between Gerrell Davis, Gerald Davis, and Wynee Duffy, oh yha, Mr. Darr is too a Duffy, and we all have a history. So does Mr. Duffy, ops, I mean Mr. Darr. A change of a name doesnt mean that you have changed. My name is Shorty from Zion to Baltimore, I have changed but my name is still the same.
