MARKET SUMMARY: Indian market traded in a small range with low volumes. Bse-Sensex closed at 19,426 down 18 points and Nifty closed at 5905down 3 points, from the previous close. Bse Midcap and Bse small cap index closed with 0.15% up and 0.48% up respectively. Consumer durables and Power and Realty Sector appeared as major gainer. Advance : Declines is 859:654. MARKET OUTLOOK: The Nifty has had a mixed trading session, has had a negative opening, has moved both ways, has received buying support at lower levels, has come off from its intra day low and has finally ended in negative territory on lower volume. Volatility can be the order of the day; an intra-day upside (seems like a possibility) could come in above the 5908 level while significant resistance at higher levels (5926) would limit the upside. The outlook has turned neutral again.

Bank Nifty Future Daily Chart

1. Banknifty future has traded in a small range for the last 3 weeks, after a big up move. It failed to cross the resistance zone 12625 2. Bank nifty future if closed above 12625 may show a sharp up move but if closed below 12200 there may be heavy selling pressure. However, it is maintaining the range 12200-12625 at present. 3. Banknifty Future has good supports at 12000 and 11825. 4. Major hurdles in the upside rally would be 12680 and 12840. 5. 50DMA lies at 11888 and 200 SMA lies at 10695. In the next session bank nifty future is expected to remain in the range 12420-12625. If sustained above 12625 there may be upside movement up to 12840 while below 12420 there would be a downward momentum up to 12360 and 12250. Traders are suggested to buy bank nifty future above 12626.
