QR Codes for E-tourism

India the land of diversity! Truly the country is blessed with a variety of cultures, climate, ecology and topography making it one of the hottest tourist destinations of the world. Our business plan is for a service-oriented business linking the new and emerging QR(Quick Response) code technology in making Indias tourist spots just a click away. The service consists of two parts a team of techies engaged in developing an online database regarding all the tourist spots in India with a web-linked, pay-per use app (for smartphones and smart devices) interface- and a team involved in setting up QR code displays all over the nation in key areas such as major metros, airports, railway stations and govt. departments. This is a proposed joint venture with the Department of Tourism, Govt. of India and our company. The service offered is as follows The site-team visits all tourist locations and collects data regarding the area including routes of access, time of travel, different modes of travel available, key attractions, highlights of the spot, hotels(with tie ups for reservations), shops and all such associated information. Then the team designs a QR code for that specific location and uploads all details to the database. The tech team designs a creative and interactive website encompassing all the details, develops an app for smart devices (with a nominal fee for download). The site also charges a nominal charge of 1$ per use. The tech team now designs QR code displays to be put up at major travel and tourist-concentrated areas such as Airports, Railway stations, major bus stands, major metros etc. Tourists can access the QR code on their smart phones and get linked to the website and get comprehensive details and plan their visit to India accordingly. This is the basic plan. Kindly develop on it based on your intuition and creativity.
