Education

Student: Being a student in the film department for two years at the University of Kansas has offered me a chance to enhance my production and post production skills. I have learned how to run many types of equipment from cameras, to editing software to recording devices. Sound Design: Sound Design was a class that I was fortunate enough to junior year here at The University of Kansas. I would say it was one the best decisions Ive made when choosing electives. This class helped me to learn what is needed in order to operate sound capturing devices. I learned post production skills as well. Documentary: Documentary was by far the greatest growth experience in production I have had in college. This class gave me knowledge about what a good documentary looks like and what it takes to make one. Technical Experience: Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, Pro Tools, Microsoft Office, various different types of cameras, lighting and audio recording devices. Additional Strengths: I learn quickly, extremely people friendly, can be a leader if needed, work efficiently and maintain a tight schedule. I pride myself on having a positive attitude always. Production Experience: Summer Internship Was the camp videographer for Kanakuk Kamps, Videoed, produced, casted and edited camp videos for kids attending camp. Every two weeks I had to have a final copy of a 15 minute video ready to present to the kids on the last day of camp. Supplied the children with a final copy of their camp experience. This experience taught me a lot dealing with camera use, specifically Panasonic, as well as editing use, specifically but not limited to adobe premier. University of Kansas, Film School Projects Over the last two years I have been part of many projects and delegated many different jobs. With this experience I have learned a lot about what goes on in regards to production. Documentary and sound design projects. Job titles that are listed above.
