Entry Eligibility & Rules:
this photo issue is open to any amateur and/or professional photographer, except those employed by Beson4 Media Group, Florida Doctor or Healthsource magazines. submission is open from March 1, 2013 to april 30, 2013. this is not a contest and no monetary prizes will be awarded. the objective of the photo issue is to illustrate Health & Happiness through the publication of photographs by Healthsource Magazine readers. Due to limited publication space, not all entries will be published. entries will be judged on the basis of creativity, photographic quality and effectiveness in expressing the content theme. entrants may submit color and/or black & white digital photographs taken in and around the First Coast area. all submissions must be original work and must have been taken by the photographer making the entry. entrants may not submit watermarked images with name or website visible on the photo. By submitting this form, you will give non-exclusive rights to Healthsource Magazine to use your name and the image in connection with the photo issue. You also certify that you hold the rights to grant such permission. selections may be published in the photo issue (print and digital editions) and accompanying publicity and Healthsource social media outlets. appropriate photo credit will be given in each circumstance. all reasonable care will be taken in handling digital files; however Healthsource Magazine will not assume responsibility for their loss or damage. non-selected entries will not be retained, stored or returned by Healthsource Magazine. Healthsource Magazine will not edit submitted photographs; with the sole exceptions of resizing to 300dpi and converting images to printing color (CMYK). any slight variations due to these conversions is unavoidable.

How to Submit Photos:

submitted images must be in JpG format. please submit your photographs at the largest possible size and resolution, ideally no smaller than 900 pixels wide at print resolution (300dpi). entrants whose images do not meet the print resolution requirements will not be contacted for resubmission. selected photographs will not be announced before publication. please submit entries with photographers full name and optional caption up to 30 words, describing in your own words how the image illustrates Health & Happiness.
