Explore NYC: Neighborhood Fact Sheet

Recent hotel development in the downtown area makes it easy for visitors to enjoy the many cultural institutions, shops and restaurants within fashionable nearby neighborhoods like Brooklyn Heights, BoCoCa (Boerum Hill, Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens), DUMBO, Fort Greene, Park Slope, Prospect Heights and Williamsburg. Highlights include Brooklyn Bridge Park, with spectacular views of the Manhattan skyline from its waterfront promenade; Janes Carousel; and seasonal water taxi service, as well Prospect Park, a 585-acre playground in the heart of Brooklyn.
