Settings
An access profile must be set up before the first connection. If the settings have already been made by the Service Provider, you may begin immediately. If not, the access profile must be set up and activated manually.

Ringer To switch on and off: Hold down. Soft keys The current functions are displayed as icons or text above the keys. The soft keys display the quick selection and menu access or offer access to a special service such as Othe SIM Service.
Device interface Control key In standby mode Hold down:Voice dialling active. Open Addressbook. Open menu. In lists and menus: Scroll up and down. Select function. Back one menu level. SMS and Calendar: Move cursor. Scroll up and down.
Create playlists
To play a number of songs in succession you can put them in a playlist (folder). 2SWLRQV Open MP3 menu. Create playlist Select. Give a name to the new list, confirm with 2.. 2SWLRQV Open list menu and select Add song then choose the song in the MP3 list and confirm with $GG, etc. Import MP3 with the Data Exchange software (see User Guide page 76).
Internet
Menu
Home: The home page may show different soft keys or menus depending on its contents (it may be set/preset). Resume: Call up recently visited pages that are still in memory. Favorites: Up to 9 WAP pages are displayed for fast access. Profiles: Set up the access profiles.
Call key Select displayed phone number or name, accept calls. Display last calls in standby mode.
2 On/Off/End key Press briefly: End call or jump back to the previous menu level. Hold down: Switch phone on/off or return to standby mode.

Voice recording offers you the following functions: Use as a Dictating machine. Record a call For numbers or addresses. Add a voice memo to an alarm in the Calendar.

This voice recording can be played back if you cannot accept a call immediately.

Record
Start Hold down the dictation key for the duration of the recording. You will hear a beep and then recording will start. Recording pause / end Release the dictation key to pause, press once more to continue. A pause of 10 seconds stops the recording. Save A recording is stored with a time stamp and can be renamed later.

If the signal is very weak, move to a window or open space. By pressing the soft key 626, you can make an emergency call via any network without a SIM card or without entering a PIN.
In the subsequent entry card, enter at least the first or last name and a phone number.

Use the side keys to scroll between months. Scroll through weeks. Scroll through days. Display of the daily view. Schedule. Time overlaps are highlighted.

Scroll through the message. Direct reply with new or standard text. The message may be stored on the MultiMediaCard.

A short signal sounds. Now say the name corresponding to the phone number and repeat it when prompted. A beep confirms the recording and all entries are displayed.
Enter number (always with prefix). Press. The number in the display is dialled. Press. The call is ended.
Call entry
In standby mode: Open Addressbook or
The answer message is played back for control purposes. The recording can be assigned a name and then be saved.
Voice command
New record A list of possible commands is displayed.
Compose message (T9 composer see User Guide p. 45). Blank. Ends a word. Full stop. Ends word if a blank follows. UPPERCASE, lowercase, digits. Switch T9 on and off temporarily.
Redialling previous numbers Press. Press again to redial the last number dialled or
Play back

Apply
First choose an announcement and activate it with &KDQJH. Then press the dictation key briefly if there is an incoming call. The call is accepted and the anDictation key nouncement is played continously, until you ... ... answer the call.

Activate Voice control in standby mode:
Scroll through the list to select a number you have dialled before.
If the Addressbook entry has more than one phone number a list is displayed. again. Select a number and press Search: You can enter the first 4 letters of the name:

Select required recording. Press briefly for playback. End play back.
Displayed when alarm is activated. An alarm sounds even when the phone is switched off. To deactivate it press any key. 3DXVH delays the alarm by 5 minutes.
