CFD relevant features have been added to HyperMesh as well as HyperView. In HyperMesh we introduced a new CFD user profile which adapts HM to the needs of a CFD user (e.g. workflow, quick acces to CFD relevant functionalities). The volume and surface meshing capabilities have been further enhanced, e.g. local refinement boxes for volume meshing and user defined growth rate for surface meshing. In HyperView the streamline generation/ modification has been further improved and velocity vector plotting capabilities have been implemented. Multi-objective Optimization Multi-objective Genetic Algorithm (MOGA) and Gradient-based Method for Multi-objective problems (GMMO) methods are added to HyperStudy to solve multi-objective optimization (MOO) problems MOO eliminates the need to simplify multi-objective problems as single objective problems MOO enables decision making based on Pareto charts Optimization Methods A new core optimizer is implemented for the Adaptive Response Surface Method (ARSM) to improve its performance and to allow for solving larger discrete problems Handling of failed analysis in SQP and Genetic Algorithm (GA) methods are improved Genetic algorithm is enhanced Scalable Response Surface Method (SRSM) for response surface creation is added to ARSM to improve its efficiency for problems with large number of design variables User Interface, Usability and Post-Processing The process for adding new studies is now streamlined An entirely new post-processing module dedicated to optimization studies has been added. It allows for an in-depth visual navigation and analysis of the history of an optimization study. Integration with HyperMath HyperMath functions can be registered to HyperStudys response expression builder. This allows users to perform studies using their codes to calculate performance criteria.

Run topology optimization with a few clicks and automatically retrieve results from your run history. You can also do quick mass summaries and static weight calculations on assemblies.
