Concept:
Dry Cleaners in Egypt use "Disposable" Plastic Hangers, which aren't biodegradable and are burnt to be rided of by garbage men.

Description:

Our project was sponsored by Henkel. They gave us funding to manufacture cardboard biodegradable Persilbranded hangers, we took away the plastic ones and gave the cardboard ones to 50 dry cleaners for free. Helping them cut costs and spare the environment

Concept:
This is a project ignited by several triggers. We had unemployed but literate individuals willing to work, people from distant villages with no access to internet or governmental clericnservices, the Social Fund for Development: micro-financier, Vodafone and Fujitsu with technical capabilities.

What we did is train and filter applicants on how to manage and start up a small business in Egypt. Thus we connected all aforementioned parties in one huge multi-million pound project.

Description:
Led a campaign of 15 students in an attempt to mobilize 50 other students to rally in almost 1000 voters to win the election. After winning, I lobbied with the Student Senate and Student Union for the sake of the student body. Managed student/labor union elections, security on campus. Policed academic integrity and lawyered disciplinary cases. Also managed student extracurricular activities' budget. Oversaw the constitution and freedom of expression policies.

HOW to start up & manage a small day business

Carried out a 3 day simulation on how to start up and manage a small business in Egypt (9 step bureaucracy) Gave intensive trainings, sessions and workshops on entrepreneurship and business for a duration of 7 weeks (1-2 sessions per week)

Description:
Performed primary research through interviews, police reports, watchdogging hot spots during the revolution and interpreted texts of law from all over the Arab world; and analyzed secondary research from the USA. For the purpose of report writing, media statements and international court cases.
