A survey was carried out by the literary society of your learning institution on the decline in the English Language performance. As the secretary of the society, you are asked to write a report on the survey for the advisor of the society. Your report should between 200-250 words and should integrate all the information given.

DECLINE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE PERFORMANCE This report was carried out by the Literary Society of learning institution on the decline in the English Language performance. By examining a range of year 2002, 2003 and 2004, this report describes the performance of learners and the causes of decline in the performance of the learners. The report then lists the reasons of decline in the English language performance. The first year that was examining, 2002, total of student that in examining was 150 students. The students were dividing into four groups, group A, group B, group C and group failures following to their result in English language performance. In 2002, there are 20 students that were in the group A, 30 students in the group B, 60 students in group C and 40 students fail in the exam. The second year that was examining, 2003, total of student that in examining was 140 students. The students also were dividing into four groups A, B, C and failures. In this year, the total of students in group A was lower than before, 10 students, 30 students in the group B, 70 students in the group C and 40 students fail in the exam. The last year that was examining, 2004, total of students that in the examining was 130 students. 10 students in the group A, 20 students in the group B, 80 students in the group C and 20 students fail. This show the decreasing of students that were in the group A. There are reasons why the students decline in the English language performance, first reasons, 22% of the students was lack of English reading materials. Second reasons, 43% of students feel that English language was not a compulsory paper to pass. Third reasons, 20 %students have a shortage of trained English teachers and 15% causes of family background. From this, we can see that students still have to work hard to improve their performance in English language. It important to increasing students performance. A new system of education is need to be make so students can increase their English language.
