The site must be tightly targeted to speak directly to PropertyBizs ideal target market. - Landlords with private property to rent needing assistance to market their property in a cost effective, successful manner to prospective tenants with view to placing a new tenant as quickly as possible. - Tenants looking to find suitable accommodation online without the hassle of chasing around viewing multiple unsuitable properties - Letting Agents looking to advertise to more tenants to market properties on their books - Suppliers looking to market their services to Private Landlords

Primarily PropertyBiz is seeking to become the primary tool for Landlords and Tenants to Rent property in the local area. The Portals unique free service offerings will provide self-serve listings for Landlords/Agents and provide a one-stop shop for tenants looking to rent a property.. The Home page will clearly enable these target individuals to spot themselves instantly and vector off to the section of the site that speaks directly to their problems, pain, wants and desires.

1 Look and Feel
For the site to meet its business objectives it needs to look and feel to be that of a professional, quality and stylish organisation without loosing the personal touch. The site should make the visitor feel they are one of us, I could work with PropertyBiz. - PropertyBizs target markets are private landlords, tenants, letting agents and service suppliers. We aim to be seen as ethical professionals and thus we need to serve them with a professional quality site. Professional but personal is where the site should be aiming. PropertyBiz will provide a Logo and colour specification that present a friendly, helpful, positive image. The logo will reflect the branding of PropertyBiz which we would like to follow through into clean, contemporary, energetic, stylish and professional website design. PropertyBiz are looking for an active colour scheme for the site that reflects the friendliness and positive feel they want to inspire their clients with. This should be based around the logo, colour scheme. The site should have plenty of white space for a fresh, energetic look. Dynamic rather than static. Professional as well as friendly and user friendly. The site is an inspiring place to visit. No use of clich business photographs or Flash animation or intro pages please. Especially good is the option to show the location of stations, schools and hospitals. The use of a change of colour from section to section also works well. 3 Section Content
The content of each section will be concise and brief as outlined above. The key messaging for each section will appear at the top above the fold. Total content for each page is not expected to me more that 2 screen scrolls. Good use of headings and sub-headings will be required to ensure effective scanning and filtering by the reader. The About page is to be written in the first person and will lead with Property Bizs calls to action Contact Us section to have a slimline form capturing simple information on prospects needs.

4 Content Management
The text copy will be written by PropertyBiz. PropertyBiz requires the ability to edit and publish content and keep the site up-to-date themselves using industry standard content management tools. The Site should be built with user friendly content management in mind. The facility to use a WYSIWYG editor such as Tiny MCE or similar http://tinymce.moxiecode.com/ etc.

The autoresponder and fulfillment functionality must be provided using a web-based industry standard autoresponder system such as Constant Contact or 1shoppingcart etc (open to suggestions) that PropertyBiz can administer with ease.

5 Google
The site will be embedded with tracking code to facilitate the use of Google Analytics to measure and optimise the site. Google Analytics will also be used to assist Google Adwords Campaigns. PropertyBiz would also like the ability to use the site with Googles Business Solutions and Webmaster tools. Google will be used as one of our primary SEO tools, with future consideration also to be given to Clicktracks or alternatives. Visitor monitoring will help PropertyBiz understand where their visitors come from and how the navigate the site thus ensuring more effective and targeted marketing.

6 Multiple Browser Functionality and Standards


The site will display correctly and will re-size where required on all popular browsers and versions currently in significant use. The site should use CSS for both formatting and layout. The site must meet W3c HTML and CSS standards and must be designed with accessibility in mind for both humans and search engines. The site may be targeted at minimum display size of 1024x768. Standard adherence is mandatory for such a professional website.

7 Search Engine Optimization


The site must be search engine friendly and designed using effective page titling and url naming. Keywords, description, content-type and title meta-tags should be present for every page. HTML coding should be error free, succinct and W3c compliant. No search engine unfriendly Flash or JavaScript navigation menus please. These search engine friendly authoring techniques are mandatory.

8 Hosting
The site should not be dependent on any server side technology. The site will be portable between Linux and Windows servers at the hosting provider of PropertyBizs choice

We do not envisage any ongoing support and maintenance fees.

The Copyright of the website and all its content shall remain with PropertyBiz. At the end of the project all source files, libraries, assets etc. will be delivered to PropertyBiz.
