Premise National Assessment and Accreditation council is an autonomous body under university Grants commission and has been

entrusted with the task of performance evaluation, assessment and accreditation of universities and colleges in the country. NAAC has been reposing quality awareness among higher educational institutions in terms of quality culture. At the instance of NAAC, many Higher Educational Institutions (HEIS) have established the internal quality Assurance cell (IQAC) as post accreditation quality sustenance activity. Therefore, formulation of an internal mechanism for planning, guiding and monitoring quality assurance is sine Quonon or imperative, which is known as Internal Quality Assurance Cell. As an envisioned technical leader, providing interface between Academy and industry VIIT, Duvvada formulated an internal Quality Assurance Cell, to work out intervention strategies to remove deficiencies and to explore to augment quality in administration and academic parameters. It is quite phenomenal that there is a perpetual scope for improvement and enhancement in all spheres and hence the Quality culture and best practices need to be internalized and institutionalized, through the following functions: To sustain, assure and enhance quality in education and governance. Develop, apply Quality bench marks on Quality. Facilitate learner centric environment Arrange feedback response from parents, students and other stake holders on quality related processes. Disseminate information on Quality parameters. Promotion of Quality circles. Documentation of Various programmes for quality improvement. Preparation of Quality Assurance Report. The IQAC would be guided by an advisory Committee comprising HODs of all branches by rendering support and cooperation to sustain the aforesaid objective.
