A Supernatural Encounter with His Presence: The Shekinah Glory of the Here and Now February 19th, 2012

The light has come Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise on you, and his glory shall be seen on you. Isaiah 60:1-2 This is an order for the church: Rise up! Your light has come! A greater weight of Glory For thus says the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, says the Lord of hosts. The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, says the Lord of hosts. The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, says the Lord of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, says the Lord of hosts. Haggai 2:6-9 All that has been happening is because you are entering an eternal, greater weight of glory. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, works for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. 2 Corinthians 4:17 There is no point in going through tribulations, problems, shaking, persecution if we are not transformed and God is not glorified. This is not a Christian clich. This says that when everything is shaken, God promises that in the end there is a greater and eternal weight of glory. Weight refers to a spiritual weight. But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. 2 Corinthians 3:18 Why should we have this experience? 1. In order for our faith to be founded in the supernatural power of God. If this is not so then you may fall into believing any false doctrine. We need continuous experiences with His presence. 2. Because that is where we are transformed. Many Christians boast about how many years they have been in Christianity. But what makes the difference is how much time in those years have been in the manifested presence of God. Everything that was created has

a habitat or environment where it functions. A bird in the sky, the fish in the water and the stars in the sky, all these are able to live, work, function and survive in their respected environment. Man was placed in His presence. This is the original environment in which man was created and lived. If you take a fish out of water, it dies. If you submerge a lion in a river, it dies. If you take man out of the presence of God, inevitably will die. 3. To become carriers, shippers, His presence or His glory. Moses had to have an encounter with the fire to get three million people out of Egypt. You need someone that is on fire to free others from slavery. The encounter with the presence of God leads you to be a liberator. There are people trying to help others without experience. The Presence: Shekinah Glory Every time I talk about Shekinah Glory there are manifestations that can be physical, natural and visible. In Hebrew, kabod is the intrinsic nature of what God is and is revealed in His names and His ways. It's about His character and His nature. The manifested presence of God cannot be manufactured, fabricated, created, provoked, agitated or stirred up. You have it or you dont. Kabod is His nature and all God is. He decides what to display. Only one thing I can do with His presence, attract it. What is the glory of God? The glory of God is the realm of eternity. Eternity is timeless. The glory does not operate in time. The glory of God is revealed eternity. It is the infinity without limits or restrictions. It is the realm that exists beyond human imagination, beyond the faith of a man and his anointing. It is the manifestation or demonstration of God himself. It is the manifested presence of God. It is the sovereignty of God in manifestation. The sovereignty of God is when God does what He wants, like He wants, when He wants and with whom He wants. A demonstration of the sovereignty of God and His will.

Many people come to church for two reasons: One is by necessity and the other to seek the purpose of God for their life. The will of God is to supply our need, especially when we are new, but we must transfer to seeking God's purpose for our lives. Substitutes for the Presence of God Those who have lost God's presence try to manufacture it with substitutes. That kabod cannot come by emotions or by movement of a man. It only comes through revelation. The glory of God cannot be studied with the mind as we study medicine. Natural instruments cannot understand the glory, it must be revealed. In the presence of God, natural laws are suspended. Why? In the glory, matter is not important. The weight of the words we speak come from the source from which they originate. If he speaks from a position of glory, they will cross the heart and transform people. The Three Dimensions of the Supernatural 1. Faith: Faith is the legal access to the invisible realm of eternity where there is no time. 2. Anointing: The anointing is the power of God given to us to serve Him and do His work. It's just one aspect of God's power. Under the anointing, we are able to fulfill the works of God. 3. Glory: The glory is God himself. Under the glory, God does the works directly. I have been to places where I have not touched or prayed for the people, and miracles have been great. Under the anointing, God uses you; hence the anointing operates through you. Under the glory, He does it all. I will prophecy that everything has been happening because there is a movement of glory, there's something up ahead, there's something on the way. There is something that God is saying. We will not evangelize the world alone, we will do it with His glory. How do we get the invisible God of His kabod, up above? And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceedingly loud; so that all the people that were in the camp trembled. Exodus 19:16

There is a translation that says: And in the morning, on the third day there was thunder and lightning and thunder were pearls and mountains and lights. And a thick cloud. And he said, I beseech you, show me your glory. Exodus 33:18 When Solomon dedicated the temple, the house was filled with the smoke... That is called Shekinah meaning the place where God dwells and rests. Literally meaning rest. God is not looking for a place to just visit; He wants a room to dwell in. He wants a place for you to seek His presence on a daily basis. Shekinah is not the same as kabod, is the aspect of Him that God wishes to manifest at a specific moment in our lives. It is the imminent presence of God that is demonstrated in the visible world. The Realm of Rest How do you know you have not entered into His presence? You're still worried about the bills, your children, and so on. When you enter the eternal realm, you automatically enter into rest. You can have the darkest day, the most difficult circumstance, but when you enter into His presence you find rest. Rest upon the word of God, He didnt bring you to die in the desert. Rest! When I'm operating under the glory of God I can preach 5 services and I am physically rested. Glory is the realm of the creative. If we seek His presence and spend time there, we will receive creative ideas to prosper in every area.
