He continued doing research in mobile and wireless communications. 23 Master and Ph.D. dissertations were accomplished under his supervision and he is currently supervising more dissertations. 1990 - 1994: The MITRE Corporation, McLean, VA, USA As a Member of the Technical Staff in the Communication Systems department, he participated in defining the next generation air/ground radio system architecture. He performed a variety of tasks including investigation of possible digital modulation and multiple access techniques for future Air/Ground Radio Communication System, analysis of frequency resource utilization in the current air/ground system, capacity analysis of single frequency versus dual frequency systems, and analysis of new system architecture. He represented MITRE in committees developing standards for future air/ground radio systems: Radio Technical Committee for Aeronautics (RTCA) special committee 172, Airline Electronic Engineering Committee (AEEC) VHF Digital Radio subcommittee. 1989 - 1990: Wichita State University, Wichita, Kansas, USA

As a visiting assistant professor in the Electrical Engineering Department, he taught courses in Electrical Circuits, Signals and Systems, and Senior Design Project. Summer 1989 Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas, USA taught 2 Summer courses : Electrical Circuits and Digital Electronics. 1987 - 1989: Alexandria University, Alexandria, Egypt As an associate professor in the Electrical Engineering Department, he taught courses in Communication Theory and Systems, Electrical and electronic circuits, Digital Signal Processing, and Network Synthesis. Professional Society or Association Memberships IEEE member (Communication Society and Vehicular Technology Society) Professional Honors Dr. Elnoubi earned Egypt Superior award of Engineering Science in 2003, Alexandria University Distinction award in Engineering in 2004, Egypt National Incentive Award of Engineering Science and Salah Amer Award of Electronics in 1988. He was listed in The National Encyclopedia of Distinguished Egyptian Persons. He is listed in the Marquis Whos Who in the World. He earned Undergraduate Distinction Scholarship all academic years 1969 to 1974. B.S. degree with grade "Distinction with Honors", and ranked first among 120 students in the senior class. Dr. Elnoubi is a technical reviewer of the IEEE transactions on Communications, Aerospace and Electronic Systems, Vehicular Technology, Information Theory, and IEE electronic letters and proceedings parts F and J. He chaired sessions in national and international conferences. He was assistant editor of Communications, IEEE transactions on

Vehicular Technology. He published 21 journal papers and 51 International conference papers
