General Expectations in this Course

Know YOUR Thought Process

Are YOU Learning Oriented or Performance Oriented? Because of the 7 Stages of Reflective Judgment YOU will need due to the open ended problems you will always encounter.
Stage 1 Absolute Facts Stage 7 Absolute Unknowns

Important to an Architectural Engineer

Time to Move from Declarative Knowledge (Knowing What - Theory) that I expect YOU to know and be able to use. Time to Move to Procedural Knowledge (Knowing How - Application) and to Conditional Knowledge (Knowing When and Why Controlling Limits) that I expect YOU to have when you leave this Course. That is Knowledge of Cognition and with Regulation of Cognition, YOU can be a Great Architectural Engineer

Part 1 of this Course in about Principles of Fire Suppression Systems

Why are systems configured like they are and why different types of systems will be used for different purposes. The fluid mechanics of how systems need to be designed to perform properly.

Part 2 of this Course is about Principles of Plumbing Systems Supply and Waste and including Storm Water Management

All of these systems are designed based on Probability and Statistics They include fluid flow under pressure and under the influence of gravity.
