Place the nger on the bottom of the scanning sensor as shown on the picture.

Fingerprint Placement Instructions

Follow this two step process to help increase the success rates for ngerprint recognition, and help with proper enrollment and use of the ngerprint sensor.

Step 2
Keeping the nger in contact with the bottom of the sensor bend the nger at the joint & press it on the center of the sensor until you hear the successful beep then take the nger off the sensor.

No Crash Landings
Do not bring your nger in for a crash landing. You must follow the 2 step process shown above placing your nger on the bottom of the sensor then bending the nger at the joint and pressing it on the center of the sensor.

Registering a New Fingerprint

Whenregisteringanewfingerprinttheuserwill be promptedtoplace the fingeronthescanner,place it directly inthemiddleofthe scanner (Seepicturebelowforcorrect placement)Onceyouhear abeep take the fingeroffthescanner andplaceitasecondtimeonthe samearea as thefirsttime,youwill nowgetagreenlightfora successful register.Note:fortheBioelectronixX200model the FPsquarewill turnblackeachtimelettingyouknowthefingerprintwassuccessfullysaved.

Toclockinoroutpress anykey onthe Bioelectronixtime clocktowake thetimeclockoutofpower saving mode, the fingerprint scannersblue light willturn on, also the screen should display the actual dateandtime,thensimplyplacethe fingeronthescannerthe wayshownabove,andyouwill hearaconfirmationforpassedornotpassed.GreenLight=GoodScan/RedLight=BadScan

Handy Tips for Successful Scanning

Followthe2StepScanningProcessasexplainedonpage1 Ifyouhaveproblems clockinginor out,deletetheuserfromthetimeclockandenrolltheuser onceagain. Whenenrollingusersmake surethey placethe fingerinthesamepositionastheywill bewhen actuallyregisteringtheirfingerprinteverytime. Werecommendyouregistertwofingersperuser,preferablytherightandleftindexfingers.
