us Use your school e-mail address and your old CSCOPE password. If that doesnt work, click Forgot Password link. When you enter your e-mail address and click Submit it will send a link that will allow you to reset your password. NOTE: Tech Support e-mail address and phone number appear at the bottom of the login screen. Call if you need help. They have been very responsive! Home Tab Scroll down to see three lists: CSCOPE Support, CSCOPE Updates, and CSCOPE News. Check back often for new stuff (esp: Projected Posting Windows). Scroll back up to Quick Search box on the right. Select grade and subject for grades 3-8. Select grade, subject, and course for high school courses. Click Search. This takes you to the View CSCOPE Components page that matches your selections (scroll up to see the tabs). This is the equivalent of the old Unit Map with the VADs, YAGs, and TVMs at the top followed by IFDs, Exemplar Lessons, PI Rubrics and Unit Tests, all grouped by unit. CSCOPE Tab View CSCOPE Components Find your YAG. Click Add to My Favorites. Click Save (accept the defaults). My CSCOPE Tab My Favorites You should see the link that was added in the previous step. Click the link to open your interactive YAG. Note that you are no longer on any of the tabs you are now in a CSCOPE document. Related: at top-left gives a quick link to the opposite version (6-week vs 9-week). Below that is a link to a Printer-Friendly Version (.PDF) of your YAG. You will see a similar link at the top-left of every CSCOPE document. The on-screen YAG is interactive. Click the title of Unit 01. The IFD for that unit will open in a new Internet Explorer (IE) tab or window, depending on your IE settings.

CSCOPE Online Interface Training: www.mycscope.us 3rd Learning Help Desk: 800.544.3483 Scroll down to see a table that looks like this near the top of the IFD:

This table contains links to the documents listed. Clicking the link to an Exemplar Lesson or to a Rubric for a Performance Indicator will open that item in a new IE tab or window. Clicking the link to a Unit Test will open a new IE tab or window that contains a link to the PDF version of the Unit Test. Click on Exemplar Lesson 01. Note the Create My Version button at the top-right. This feature allows you to make a copy of the Exemplar Lesson, add it to your personal list, and make changes to your copy. Feel free to play you are only changing your copy. Scroll down in your Exemplar Lesson until you find the box labeled Attachments. This is a list of links to your student handouts and other supporting files, such as PPTs, Excel Workbooks, etc. Clicking one of these links will open the associated file. Tools Tab My Calendar Click on the Tools Tab. Click on My Calendar. Note: Calendar and Planbook are synonymous in this context. As of mid-August, 2012, functionality in this module is limited and somewhat quirky. There is a 6-page PDF document on the Home Tab under CSCOPE Resources titled, Tools: My Calendar. I suggest you read it first. Tools Tab Content Creator Click on Content Creator. This is where you will see Exemplar Lessons that you have created your own version of. It is also where you can create a new lesson from scratch without using anything from CSCOPE. Note the two buttons at the top: My Lesson Plans vs My Exemplar Lessons. You can create new lessons using the ELA K-5 format, the ELA 6-12 format, or the 5E Model format.

CSCOPE Online Interface Training: www.mycscope.us 3rd Learning Help Desk: 800.544.3483 Tools Tab Administrator Console You will only have access to this function if you are set up in the system in an administrative role. This feature is not yet active. It is scheduled to go live sometime after September 1, 2012. It will provide access to the Principals Walkthrough Tool and the Principals Corner, which will enable you to review teachers lesson plans. Search Box (top-right corner of every screen) Note the search box in the top-right corner. Enter a content-specific term (for Social Studies I might enter constitution) and click on the magnifying glass. This will take you to the Search CSCOPE Components page of the CSCOPE Tab where it will display every document in the system that includes your search-word. You can narrow your search by grade(s), subject(s), and course(s). You can also narrow your search by type of document by checking one or more boxes under Curriculum, Assessment, or Instruction. NOTE: You must click the Search button to refresh after changing your search criteria. Submitting Feedback Please report all errors that you find they cant begin to fix it until they know that it is broken. When you find an error, scroll to the bottom of whatever page you are on. Look for these two buttons in the lower-left corner:

First, click the View Comments button to see if someone else has already reported the same error. If it is already on the list, there is no need to submit it again. If it is not on the list, then click the Submit Feedback button and provide a detailed description of the error. Note, however, that as of mid-August, 2012, the feedback system is undergoing some major renovations. If you should be unable to find these buttons, or if clicking them triggers an error message, then use the Contact Us link found at the very bottom of the screen to send an e-mail to the Help Desk in lieu of using Submit Feedback.
