ABSTRACT

This project titled as AN ANALYSIS OF TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO L.G.Balakrishnan & Bros. Ltd , COIMBATORE , focuses on some of the key issues like training facilities, welfare measures, difference in satisfaction level, and various training and development programs and their effectiveness.

The analysis has been done based on the primary data collected through opinion survey method amongst 150 employees. The analysis was done us using simple percentage analysis, chi-square method, ranking method, correlation. The findings indicate that employees need training in more advanced techniques.
