Wedge Series 500

Wedge Series 500 technology is specially designed for use where torque strength is critical. With high compression resistance and several times the torque strength of most technologies, Wedge Series 500 connections provide high performance even on pipe with thin walls. They are used in demanding applications from highly deviated wells to strings that must be rotated and pushed into place. Wedge Series 500 connections are available in flush, near flush, upset and threaded and coupled configurations, with or without metal-to-metal seals. Each connection bears a number in the 500 series where the second digit denotes the connection configuration and pipe end and the third digit denotes the sealing system.

Available in casing sizes from 2 3/8" to 16" Available in tubing sizes from 2 3/8" to 7" For production casing, intermediate casing and tiebacks, production tubing, workstrin coated tubing. Special applications include geothermal and steam injection productio in subsidence intervals, drilling with tubing and other applications requiring high com torque.

Wedge 561
Available in sizes from 2 3/8" to 4 1/2" For use in work strings and production tubing. Special applications include milling, ja drilling cement and diamond-coring operations.

Integral Casing Wedge 523

Available in sizes from 7" to 16" For production casing, intermediate casing, tiebacks and drilling and production liner applications include highly deviated and horizontal wells, drilling with casing, and wh rotated and pushed into place.

Wedge 521
Available in sizes from 4" to 18 5/8" For large-diameter surface casing, intermediate casing, horizontal liners, extended-re and drilling liners. Special applications include drilling with casing, slotted liners for g wells and rotation-while-bending during wash-down and cementing.
