About ISTQB

The ISTQB (www.istqb.org) was officially founded as an International Software Testing Qualifications Board in Edinburgh in November 2002. The
ISTQB is responsible for the international qualification scheme called “ISTQB Certified Tester”. ISTQB brings together testers and experts from
around the world to work on one set of terminology and syllabuses with a view to allow this certification in Software Testing to be internationally
recognised and coordinated.
