JOB DESCRIPTION:-

E.K. Nayanar Hospital,Kasargod.

Admission of patients for general, obstetrics.

Pre-operative preparations & post-operative care.
Receiving patients from operation room after surgeries.
Monitoring vital parameters, blood gas analysis & intake output.
Administration of medication, electrolytes, blood & blood products.
Assessment of normal body functions after surgeries including fluid &
electrolyte balance, renal functions, level of consciousness & orientation of
the patient.
Surgical dressing.
Carryout universal precautions & isolation techniques.
Naso-gastric tube feedings
Management of emergencies & cardio pulmonary resuscitation.
Maintain accurate records and reports.
Maintain inter personal relationship with patient, doctors, relatives &co-
workers .
Receiving patients after various Orthopaedic surgeries.
Monitoring of vital parameters, blood gas & intake output.
Administration of medication, blood & blood products
