Call Objectives of Specialities

Chest Specialist: o The Oxidative stress is the most important aspect in the Lungs structure destruction in patients with COPD and Emphysema. Dostin prevents the further destruction of Lungs
structure in long term use in patients with COPD and Emphysema by:

Decreasing the Level of Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) Increasing the level of Glutathione (GSH)

Dostin reduce sputum viscosity that increases the Antibiotic concentration in sputum and potentiate its effect in patients with Exacerbation of Chronic Bronchitis.

General Practioners
o o o Dostin is an effective mucolytic agent for the patients of Sinusitis, Pharyngitis, Laryngitis, and Tracheitis. Beside mucolytic effect Dostin offers Bacterial Anti-Adhesion and prevents relapses in patients with Acute Exacerbation of Chronic Bronchitis. Dostin reduce sputum viscosity that increases the Antibiotic concentration in sputum and potentiate its effect in patients with Exacerbation of Chronic Bronchitis.

ENT Specialist
o Being the latest generation of its kind Dostin is an effective mucolytic agent for the patients of Sinusitis, Pharyngitis, Laryngitis, and Tracheitis.

Pediatrician

Opening Statement...

Doctor

As you know that due to pollution, dust and smoking there is noticeable increase respiratory disorders, whereas the relapse case of asthma, bronchitis & COPD are also on increase. This is the result of deposition of sputum in bronchi that does not let the exchange of oxygen and CO2 to take place in the alveoli. Doctor! As you know that due to the complex structure of SPUTUM most of the medications fail to act or take elongated time to act. By then the patient remain in lack of oxygen supply to the whole body that can result in to other physiological complications. Doctor! As you know there are different therapeutic approaches available e.g. cough & cold preparations, expectorants, bronchodilators and other medications with the targets to reduce the dyspnoea & exacerbation by moving the sputum out of lungs as to let the oxygen and CO2 to exchange properly. Doctor! A mucolytic agent that can modulate the sputum for easy movement out of lungs, with AntiOxidant properties, have the Bacterial anti-adhesive and have the Anti- Inflammatory effects on bronchi.

Show the comparative graph of sputum viscosity and frequency of cough (Upper half of page No. 2) Doctor! Doctor! Dostin significantly reduces sputum viscosity and volume faster than N-Acetylcysteine and also reduces the frequency of cough. Dostin also increases concentration of antibiotics in sputum to potentiate the effect of antibiotics in patients with Exacerbation of chronic Bronchitis.

Show the comparative graph and inhibition of bacteria with Dostin and N-Acetylcysteine. (Lower half of page No. 2) Doctor! The initiating factor in bacterial colonization of the respiratory tract is bacterial adhesion with the help of bacterial fimbria, made up of single protein called pillin, containing disulphide bond. Dostin acts on the disulphide bond of Pillin and brings morphological changes In its structure thus makes bacteria in capable of getting adhesion on mucosal surface of respiratory tract and prevents relapses in patients with Acute Exacerbation of chronic bronchitis.

Doctor! Point to the caption Doctor! Dostin also offers bronchial Anti-Oxidant effect because oxidative stress is the main characteristics of Chronic Bronchitis and COPD. Dostin has a direct scavenging activity on ROS (Reactive Oxygen Species) and significantly increases the level of Glutathione which is a natural anti-oxidant in plasma and Bronchoalveolar Lavage

(Point to the graph and show the free radical scavenging activity of Dostin)
(Lower half of page No. 3) Doctor! Doctor; Dostin also offers bronchial Anti-Inflammatory activity by reducing the concentration of bronchial inflammatory markers in sputum like Total proteins, DNA and Albumin in patients with COPD.
