Secretary Report: Minutes read and approved

Treasurer’s Report: Checking $1142.94 and Savings $1673.52

Membership: 32 paid members

Competition: Need Bag Tag Guru

Swag Report: Flask, water bottles $7, coffee mugs for $8 and various tees.

Old Business
Slosh Series
• Feb. 21st is full! 2nd round baskets will be switched.
• Lots of new faces
• #4 3/28 at Pier if we get confirmation from Portland Parks and Rec

Oregon Collegiate UofO

• Fund raising tournament. Grasshopper doubles. Minis not available yet, probably will
be bag tags. Next tournament 2/28, team competition
• Donate some swag?

Stubb Stewart Park update

• Newest state park is still being developed, want to make it a destination park.
• Land plays through old growth forest, good elevation, fairways been cut out.
• Lay out a 9-hole and a 18-hole course this Friday. 18-hole course in the works as
well, mostly in new-growth forest.
• Goal to have 9-hole course in by summer.

February work party

• 2/14 at Leverich starting at 9am. Doubles afterwards.
• Please bring tools, wheelbarrows, etc.
• Need grill master for lunch

• 2-$25 hole sponsorships and swag

• Future of club and emphasis: Course Development (Steve), Communication (Brian),
Competition (Bob), Clinics (Carie) with Community tying it together.
• Working to draw more people into help

Oregon Series and Beaver State Fling

• Northwest Disc Golf Promotions and the Bellingers will no longer run the Beaver
State Fling or OR Series
• Jeff Mittl and Mike Phillips will be heading
• Beaver State Fling, NT requirements increased added cash,
• Increase fund raising! Need some serious cash
• Jeff is sponsor coordinator, focus on NW companies
• Need 5 more people for core team: Volunteer Coordinator, Players’ Party
Coordinator
• Hole sponsorships are available, minimum $50 for ½ tee sign, $5000 for Title
Sponsorship, working on vendor sales
• Need more people to show up at Milo work parties: raffles?

1. Motion: Stumptown Disc Golf will be running the Beaver State Fling and provide some
financial support that will be determined at next meeting. Jeff Mittl and Mike Phillips will
be co-TDs.

Membership Tournament
• Horning’s Hideout would be a good option, have 3 courses available.

Chick Flick
• Possible Dates July and August
