SPEAKERS
Mark Parabicoli has been with Liberty Mutual for 22 years working in the Affinity Marketing and Claims arena. Marks current role in the Affinity Marketing department as Assistant Vice President and Managing Director of Auto and Home Voluntary Benefit Programs is overseeing the business segment responsible for securing and maintaining partnerships with employer groups in order to incorporate our auto and home products into members voluntary benefits programs offered to their employees. Prior to transitioning in January 2009 to his current position, Mark was the Manager of Examining and Quality Assurance for the Claims Department. In this roll he managed a team that acted as technical consultants for the national Claims field operations for complex and high-exposure claims. His Examining team also monitored and managed large exposure litigated files, including class action lawsuits. Marks Quality Assurance teams monitored the quality of ongoing Claims work product so that a consistent product was delivered to our customers with superior quality service, while also remaining complaint with all state claims handling regulations. Mark earned his Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts in 1990. He has also achieved his Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) Designation. Mark.parabicoli@libertymutual.com Janet M Soppe, FSA, MAAA President, Soppe Insurance Services, LLC Jan Soppe has spent the last 25 years focusing primarily on the Long Term Care Insurance (LTCI) market. She is an actuary by profession, and has spent much of her career at executive positions in insurance companies. Most recently she has consulted with multiple organizations regarding Long Term Care and Critical Illness insurance and the development of unique product designs and sales and marketing approaches. Jan was President of the AEGON LTC Division at its formation in 1991, continuing there until 2005. In this position, she directed and managed all insurance aspects of the LTCI business including product development, sales and marketing, underwriting, claims, and all other management and administrative functions for AEGONs various wholly-owned insurance company subsidiaries. Jan helped to create many of the innovative features in LTCI products. These included married discount pricing, joint waiver and survivorship benefits, and partial cash benefits. She has actively supported major LTCI developments such as tax-qualified and comprehensive policies. Prior to the above position, Jan served as Senior Vice President and Actuary for health and LTCI Jan.soppe@inscon.net products with AEGON. www.libertymutual.com/employers

Mark Roberts professional sales background includes over 30 years of sales and marketing in the tax, insurance, and investment markets. Mark is a licensed life, health and accident insurance agent in all 50 states and DC, for insurance products, and discount health plans. He serves as Manager of National Accounts at Careington International ( www.careington.com ). He specializes in developing benefit plans for all types of national organizationsassociations, employers, financial institutions, insurance companies and Medicare advantage plans, insurance brokers, and more. Questions and Answers


Q. What if my plans change and I cannot attend? A. We understand that you may register for a complimentary program even if you are not sure your schedule will permit you to attend. We recognize that circumstances may change, making it impossible for you to attend. We would very much appreciate your cooperation to let us know as soon as possible if this happens to you. Events like the Boot Camp are often heavily oversubscribed and we will then be able to accommodate others. We hope that you will be able to join us for a future program. Q. Who is eligible to register and attend the Boot Camp? Registration and attendance at the Boot Camp is strictly limited to Business Leaders, Executives, and Managers responsible for employee benefits, HR Leaders and Specialists, CFOs and Business Owners from employers with 300 or more employees. Private, Public and Not-ForProfit employers are welcome. All determinations of attendee qualification are made by the Boot Camp organizer and are final. In order for the Boot Camp to accommodate as many interested qualifying employers as possible, we are not able to accept registrations from employee benefits brokers, advisors, consultants or products or services providers. We appreciate your cooperation and thank you in advance for respecting these attendee qualification requirements. Q. What happens if my registration cannot be accommodated due to space limitations? A. Every effort will be made to accommodate all qualified employers who register for the Boot Camp. To encourage networking and to give attendees the opportunity to ask questions, each Boot Camp event is limited to 50 employer attendees. In the unlikely event your registration cannot be accommodated, we will notify you by email and we hope that you will be able to join us for a future program. Q. Will I be able to register on the day of the event? Are reservations required? A. Advance registration using the events online registration system is required. We are unable to accept walk-up registration requests on the day of the event. Q. Can more than one qualified attendee register from the same employer? A. We encourage you to share your invitation with other qualified attendee colleagues from your organization (separate registration is required for each individual attendee). However, in order to accommodate as many employers as possible we generally will not be able to honor registration requests from more than two attendees from the same employer. Q. How can I suggest other employers who may be interested in receiving invitations to the seminar such as those who are members of local and regional business and employee benefits groups and associations? A. Please email your suggestions to info@rjtadvisors.com and we will be in contact with you to make this happen. Q. Must I receive a personal invitation in order to register? A. All qualified attendees are invited to attend. The Boot Camp sponsors and their affiliates and the Boot Camp organizer are distributing invitations to the events via email, social media and other forms of promotion. You may register in response to any of these methods of invitations. Q. What will you do with my registration information? A. We respect your privacy. Your registration information will be used to administer the event. The Boot Camp sponsors and the Boot Camp organizer, who make possible complimentary attendance at the event, will have access to the registration information provided by registered attendees and may use that information to provide you with additional information regarding their products and services. If you do not agree to such use of your registration information, please do not register.
