onfident that it will soon become

as popular

with language teachers

and students as Book 1, which

was very well received and adopted in schools all over Europe, ELI takes now pleasure in introducing you to Engtish With Crosswords Book 2. As with Book 1, our aim is to provide a simple and enjoyable aid to vocabulary learning by means of visual material presented with crossword puzzles. 14 subjects have been chosen, as in Book 1, and by the same team of language teaching experts, with 20 words each, all shown in the illustrated page that precedes each set of graded crosswords. On the first page there are 10 numbered illustrations. Using these, the student can insert the words in the right squares, so that the activity is
also a spelling aid.

On the second page, the remaining 10 illustrations are used in the same
way.

On page three, some words from pages one and two are used, and on the fourth page the remaining illustrations from pages one and two are used in the same way. At this stage the learner will have memorized all words and be able to insert them in the last crossword in the series. We feel sure that English With Crosswords Book 2 will be very useful both in the classroom and at home, especially during the holidays. Learning with games is fun. What more could a student who wants to build up his vocabulary ask for?
