Today is the first day of this class, EDU-310. My bulletin point that I noted were CBM, types of disabilities, definition of Learning, and its stages. CBM is free writing in class that our instructor Manual planed to do every class before the lecture or presentation. Learning is a change of behavior. Really, this definition is real and it makes me to feel its deep meaning. I can tell many changes I made since I came into The United State such integration to this community and frustration and stress that I met my first years. Leaning goes into stages of acquisition which is get knowledge and skill, maintenance which is able to use the knowledge and do it and generalize which is use and apply that knowledge many other different ways. Learning the meaning of disability and different terms used for disability in education, my understanding of disability I used to consider disability specifically physical disability and I didnt imagine mental students could join the classes. I learn thirteen different disabilities which some of them amazed me for considering disabilities such as behavioral disorders, barrier for language, low comprehension and other.

Today is the second day of our class. Things we had today were new adjustment of the syllabus, clarification and details of ABC assignment and presentation of chapter two and eight. We as students are informed the new changed made for syllabus which were cancellation of class of May 27, 2009 and adjustments of presentation of that will be done Jun 1. ABC is an assignment for field experience which is behavioral observation. Each of us as students, we must go schools and do this assignment. The way we do this is visiting regular class, pick one students and watch that particular students behavior. The letters of ABC stands A for antecedent which is observe and record what happen before behavior, B stands for behavior which is what student responds whether it is an oral or an action or both, and C stand for Consequence which is the action that teacher take for behavior of the student. After ABC assignment, we must develop a lesson concern for that behavior and do research for that particular behavior and find five different articles relate that behavior. I learn many different things in this class. It wasnt clear to me, the meaning of disability and categories divided disabilities. Finally we had presentation of chapter two and eight and quiz of CBM. Chapter two is about collaboration between teachers, parents and administrator of school and department of education. The chapter eight is about also a peer cooperation such torturing and peer assisting. The reading of chapter and presentation helps me to understand a lot about teaching in classroom and

Students the change I made. I made few Adjustments that changes about field experienceremoving some days of reciprocal teaching and use these days what every one of you need to use. Online web- checks what every one of you wants. Field experience- integrates experience is two parts: you dont need to observe child in classroom, you can observe any child in system education. Observe kid, collect data, share your observation with special education teacher and parents work with different ethnic your background -other part- lesson plan- if you dont know any child disability contact agencies work this area- or- the school you work may help you to find student of disability.- the purpose of assignment is to observe a behavior not for student with disability. The meaning of disability has 13 different definitions in the united state. You choose one of the 13 categories and observe Creating lesson plan is first part decide the strategies support your lesson plan- for example if your lesson is vocabulary what you want do to benefic the student with disability your lesson I want to identify five empirical study address this issue with annotated bibliography- empirical study ( for our purpose, I will include both quantitative and qualitative studies) One of the important things is given training is to able to integrate real situation which could be difficulty situation and change it. I had one student from Malaysia, I had one student have culture touching the head is disrespect. Tracy: Social skill- experience of classroom Autism- greeting for student is beneficiary for social public not only in classroom- that creates positive effect- teaches children how to say hey. Shaking is also has positive effect. We had student labeled DCD EBD- some of people of school disagree why this child placed in DCD- We had chart to express and show children what is going in their brain and tell them positive expectation and negative expectation- strategies to use to normalize the students Advise student to use your words rather than throwing staff. Mohamud- -how do help a silence student in the classroom? I never had such that student. TeacherABC analyzes teaches that- that behavioral- ask yourself- is true this child never communicate or it is certain time.- it isnt how you teach- but need observation what student expose.- we also need to teach how to generalize these social skills . ADEA is a law proved and signed n 1975. This law has six principles which are zero reject, nondiscriminatory tests, free and appropriate education, least restrictive environment, due process and parent permission. We started the presentation of chapter seven and nine. For the first ten minutes we did the CBM which was about student disability in the classroom who failed the test and arguing that his failure isnt fair? My view such argument that student bring, is self defense and justification. I believe proofing what the student claims can be responded to give more chance to test again if student have moral, future and knowledge to convince his argument. The second result will proof if he or she has fair argument. Although that issue depend on the age level that situation occurs. Presentation was given Tracy, Ann and Daniel of chapter 7 & 9 were about improving classroom behavior, social skill, motivation and effects. Tracy teaches kids and told us her experiences. She gave sample chart of behavioral observation that she use in her class which we practiced in our classroom. It helps me to understand my assignments of ABC to follow that chart. Ann share with us her experience a school that she taught in Chicago which most students were black and how this ethnic think her as teacher. She told us she spent three months make relationship with students using different strategies such as standing and waiting students at door the beginning of her class and greet and shake each students his or her hand. Ann said that way taught me to understand each student when student came to class how each student feel today. She said you can tell whether a child who has good or bad day waiting your

anything student does is behavior- blow up Manual- you need to be objective and observe behavior and then hypothesis- and engage what you need to do that behaviorassessing the behavior. Daniel- Motivation is degree of student to Effect- emotional and feelings.Make sure your all students are welcomesuccess- two Participate and activity

students at door. Daniel presented the benefic of motivation and its effect. She explains how ego- orient classroom doesnt support the motivation, but task-orient classroom support the motivation. Ego-orient classroom creates a competition between students which some of students think they are special and other groups think they cant be top. For this reason ego-orientation decreases motivation. The effect of ego-orient classroom is some of students feel they are dump.

ask your students how they feeling- if students do good job let them know-Things lessen motivation- Task meaningless- not be enthusiasm Self-esteem is how students see themselves Also students disability need extra time If student see same students like him or her Motivation and achievement can increase or

then can try to assimilate them vise verse achievement needs for setting a goal. Ego- orient- students loose motivation and Manual-three things I want to say One- kids disabilities may be true or not Task-orient students support motivation.

true- isnt respect or progress to 60% is progressing student behind four year and in nine grade that isnt significant progress and you may add another year of failure- kid isnt the one have the goal but you also need to goal. You have to understand if you want to success , you have to establish goal- Motivation never help you want without additional other things
