S.M Subhnai hails from a musical family and is the grandson of Nadhabrahma, Nadhaswara Vidwan Sri Throvagunta Shaik Hassan Saheb, and son of Sri Throvagunta Shaik Kasmur Mastan Saheb( A.I.R Artist), a powerful and energetic Mandolin Artist, is an outstanding exponent of Carnatic Music, the classical music system of Southern India. His strong and vibrant performance, rich and fertile imagination and an excellent blend of tradition and modernity has helped him win a permanent place in the hearts of music lovers. His music has an endearing quality that connects him to any audience that he performs for.

MUSICAL TRAINING:

S.M Subhani has undergone an intensive training period of 10 years under his grandfather Nadhabrahma Nadhaswara Vidwan Sri Throvagunta Shaik Hassan Saheb( All India Radio (Chennai and Vijayawada) A grade Artist and Dr.Shiak China Moulana Guru) and his father Nadaswara Vidwan Sri Throvagunta Shaik Kasmur Mastan Saheb(A.I.R. Artist). S.M Subhani continues his quest for knowledge and gets guidance from various instrumental and vocal musicians, even today at the height of his successful career. It is notable that S.M Subhani also qualified for Western Classical Music six grades in Trinity Music College of London and gave it all up to pursue his passion for Carnatic music. CONCERT CAREER S.M Subhani began his concert career at the age of 12 years. He has had a vast performing experience giving concerts all over India. Some of his career highlights have been 1.S.M Subhani has been giving solo, duet as well as trio concerts along with his Gurus (Grandfather, NadhaBrahma, Nadhaswara Vidwan Sri Throvagunta Shaik Hassan Saheb and Father Sangeetha Kalanidhi Sri Throvaguta Shaik Kasmur Mastan Saheb) at Temples, Sabhas, and other cultural and social events. 2. Regularly featured in premier organisations promoting Indian classical music all over India and abroad. 3. Performed as a guest artist in MAA TV Nadhavinodham an Instrumental Program and was applauded by the Padhma Vibhshan, Maha Mahopadhayaya Dr. Sri Nukala China Sathyanarayana . 4. Performed in SUN TV on the eve of Pongal along with Tamil Music Director Jeevan Thomas. 5. Performed in Prasarabharathi All India Radio (Vijayawada) as a Child musician at the age

of 14th.

a Musical Band Wavez giving fusion concerts across the India.

7. Working

as an accompanist to the music directors Manisharma, Harris Jai Raj, Chakri, Thaman, Keeravani, Guru Kiran and many others for around 300+ movies. Accomplishments: Got the 1st prize in National youth festivals which was held in the Pune in 2003 in the stream of Guitar. Got the 2nd Prize in the National Youth Festival in 2004 in the area of Flute and blessed by the Padma Vibhushan Sri Dr. Mangalam Palli Bala Murali Krishna. Got the 1st place in three areas Flute, Harmonium, and Guitar in 2005 in state youth Awards in Vijayanagaram and recipient of the Youth award from the Govt. Of Andhrapradesh by the hands of Honbl. Ex CM Sri Dr. Rajashekar Reddy. Won the 1st prize in the stream of Guitar in National Youth festival which was held in Amritsir (Punjab) in 2008 . Won the 1st Prize in the stream of Mandolin and Guitar in National Youth festivals which was conducted by the Govt. Of India held in Hyderanad in 2010. A leading South Indian Carnatic Mandolin Artist among the top most players and a strings player in south Indian cinema Industry, who can play more than fifteen instruments. Started his career in Cinema Industry in the year 2006 with the Music Director Vandemataram Srnivas with the Movie Gundamma Gari Manavadu. A Permanent string player to Music Director Manishrama from the year 2007 and has contributed Many of his films like Parugu, Chirutha, Racha, KVJG, Camara Men Gangatho Rambabu and Many other... He works for Music Director Chakri and participates in Chakri's Musical shows on Guitar and Mandolin. Some of the Chakri movies He contributed in Anasuya, Bava, Simha, His Music in Thaman SS films are Brindhavanam, Dhookudu, Businessman, Bhadsha, Shadow and many other. Accompanied his instruments Mandolin, Oud, Bazooki, Ukulele in M.M.Keeravani Films are Siridi Sai, Magadheera, Dhammu and many more and given concert in Hampi Festivals along with Keeravani.... Has given a live performance on Mandolin in Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu Triple Platinum Disk audio function along with Music Director Micky J.Mayer.

He not only works for Tollywood even works for Kollywood, Sandalwood and Bollywood (Budda Hoga Tere Bap). He works for Kannada Music Directors are Guru Kiran, Hari Krishna and Arun Jenya.

He had a great work experience with Music Director Harris Jai Raj in his Movies Thuppaki, iranda mulagam, and other movies.
