The Mission: Dog-Leg Maneuver

Sohae Satellite Launch Ground has narrow usable azimuth to launch satellite about 90deg for sea-locked dropping zone. So we can launch satellite to 90deg inclination orbit without out-plane maneuver. (This method was known as Dog-leg maneuver or Yaw steering) KMS-3-2 mission need to launch satellite to 98.7deg inclination, so 3rd stage dog-leg maneuver was necessary

ThenWhats NEXT? Vehicle Performance Improvement

Current configuration of LVs (ULV2A) will use KMS-4 and KMS-5 In the next mission (KMS-4) , we tried to little improvement of vehicle as shown below
KMS-4 (150kg) and TDM-1 (30kg) dual manifest mission with new payload attach fitting Add K-POD cube sat deploying system with three 1U(K-cube1) cube sat. Add experimental hydrazine RCS thruster to 3rd stage aft bulkhead and testing orbit accuracy improvements.

Satellite technology Improvement

KMS-3-2 tells us that we need more challenge to space and basic researches of satellite technology to get valuable achievement in space Proposed KMS series has very challenging mission (remote sensing ,communication ,and moon exploration) so well simultaneously technology demonstration mission with KMS series The first mission is TDM-1 and Kcube1,2,3 with KMS-4 satellite

After KMS-6, new vehicle configuration (ULV-2B) debut
