The 9/11 Truth

There will come a time when everyone understands and acknowledges that the destruction of the World Trade Center buildings on 9/11/2001 was the result of controlled demolition. Our history books will note how long the masses were deceived before the facts were proclaimed by enough people to demand an investigation of U.S. government involvement in this horrible crime. A growing percentage of the population is becoming educated about 9/11 though many are still in the dark. So for the sake of anyone who questions whether elements in the U.S. government are capable of orchestrating such a heinous act before we get into the facts of 9/11, lets briefly look at another piece of U.S. history that is not taught in schools Operation Northwoods was a series of false-flag proposals that originated in 1962 within the U.S. government. The proposals called for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), or other operatives, to commit acts of terrorism in U.S. cities and elsewhere. These acts of terrorism were to be blamed on Cuba in order to create public support for a war against that nation, which had recently become communist under Fidel Castro. One part of Operation Northwoods was to develop a Communist Cuban terror campaign in the Miami area, in other Florida cities and even in Washington. This was not made public until 35 years after the fact in 1997. Operation Northwoods proposals included hijackings and bombings followed by the introduction of phony evidence that would implicate the Cuban government. It stated: The desired resultant from the execution of this plan would be to place the United States in the apparent position of suffering defensible grievances from a rash and irresponsible government of Cuba and to develop an international image of a Cuban threat to peace in the Western Hemisphere. Several other proposals were included within Operation Northwoods, including real or simulated actions against various U.S. military and civilian targets. The plan was drafted by the Joint Chiefs of Staff, signed by Chairman Lyman Lemnitzer and sent to the Secretary of Defense. Although it was part of the U.S. government's Cuban Project anti-communist initiative, Operation Northwoods never reached implementation because fortunately it was rejected by President John F. Kennedy. Evaluating 9/11 Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth. Arthur Conan Doyle Everyone remembers where they were that Tuesday morning of September 11th. Watching the planes hit the buildings seemed surreal. I clearly remember thinking about the massive effort that would be required to rebuild the tops of the towers after the fires were extinguished and the debris removed. When the buildings actually collapsed, I was amazed. I had not imagined that any part of the towers would collapse, much less totally destroy the entire lower part of the structures. Yet, there was the physical evidence in front of me, being replayed over and over. After the initial shock had abated, I began to reevaluate what I had seen and realized that my initial instincts were correct the structures should not have collapsed. My college degree is in architecture, so I am somewhat familiar with properties of materials and building construction. It turns out that many other architects and engineers had the same thoughts and have even conducted a tremendous amount of research.

Today there is a nonprofit organization called Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth that supports this cause. Many other groups support it as well: Firefighters for 9/11 Truth, Scholars for 9/11 Truth, Pilots for 9/11 Truth, Religious Leaders for 9/11 Truth, Political Leaders for 9/11 Truth, Medical Professionals for 9/11 Truth, Veterans for 9/11 Truth, Lawyers for 9/11 Truth, World for 9/11 Truth and many others. Each has their own website and pool of information so there is a vast amount of technical data on this subject from a myriad of sources. It is amazing that most people still believe the lies. It seems that they just dont know any better, and its easier for them to stay ignorant even though that leads to ruin. People need to wake up, look at the facts, think for themselves and demand the truth be told. Fortunately, more and more are doing exactly that as the 9/11 Truth movement continues to grow. My goal here is to compile some of the most salient facts, peer-reviewed by architectural and engineering experts, and present them concisely. I do not focus on any counter-arguments against controlled demolition. From what I have seen, they tend to ignore important information, misconstrue it, and present misleading or even blatantly false information. Any rational, intelligent person who grasps the basics presented here will quickly see through any counter-arguments. I hope it inspires others to spread the truth as well Design and Engineering Few people realize that the Twin Towers were designed to withstand impact from commercial airlines specifically by Boeing 707s, which were the largest commercial airline made at the time of construction in the mid-1960s and only slightly smaller than the Boeing 767s that did strike the buildings. According to John Skilling, the lead designer of the Twin Towers (Seattle Times interview February 27, 1993), an impact from a Boeing 707 traveling at 600 mph would result in only local damage and that our analysis indicated the biggest problem would be the fact that all the fuel (from the airplane) would dump into the building. There would be a horrendous fire. A lot of people would be killed. But, he says, The building structure would still be there. Skyscrapers are significantly over-engineered as a matter of standard practice. For example, the Empire State Building was struck on the 79th floor by a B-25 bomber in 1945 which resulted in 14 deaths, 26 injuries and one million dollars in damage, but it was far from catastrophic. The planes that struck the Twin Towers were certainly larger than a B-25, but that doesnt explain why there wasnt more damage to the Pentagon by the Boeing 757 that struck there. The difference is that demolition explosives were not used in the Pentagon, or the Empire State Building for that matter, as they were in the WTC buildings. Modern buildings are typically designed to withstand 5x the anticipated static loads and 3x the anticipated dynamic loads. The design and structure of the WTC buildings was more than adequate to withstand the damage sustained on 9/11. The World Trade Center even survived a 1993 attack with a 1500-pound ureanitrate bomb that only managed to damage one support column. But beyond the engineering, there is an overwhelming amount of evidence that controlled demolitions were used to destroy the buildings Melted Structural Steel Videos of the burning towers show yellow/orange molten steel running out the sides of the buildings just prior to their collapse. Also, large quantities of molten steel were observed and photographed in the basements and rubble piles of the Twin Towers and WTC Building 7. Firefighters and workers sifting through the aftermath reported melted steel running like in a foundry. Photos by Frank Silecchia on

September 27th, 2001 show steel glowing yellow and orange indicating a temperature of approximately 845 1040C (1550 1900F). These images are literally the smoking gun of evidence, as there was nothing in the building including jet fuel that had the capacity to melt structural steel. The official story is that jet fuel and other fires caused the steel to melt. The problem with this theory is that jet fuel (refined kerosene) and building fires produce a hydrocarbon flame. The maximum temperature of an open air hydrocarbon fire is about 1000C (1832F). The majority of the jet fuel burned in the initial fireball, and the remainder was gone in less than ten minutes, leaving only the burning building contents. This was testified by eyewitnesses in the south tower who managed to escape from the crash zone and above. A handful of these actually saw the plane debris in the building. The flames in the towers were diffuse, and the dark smoke showed they were oxygen starved very likely less than 650C (1202F). However, for structural steel to melt, its internal temperature must be raised to 1510C (2750F). Besides the fact that the fires had less than half the heat needed to melt steel, high internal steel temperatures are very difficult to achieve over a wide area in a large structure. Steel is an excellent conductor, and heat produced by burning material on one office floor is dissipated by the steel framework over a multi-story region of the building. History testifies to this: In all other instances of burning skyscrapers, such as: One Meridian Plaza fire in Philadelphia (18 hours), One New York Plaza fire (6 hours), Caracas Tower fire in Venezuela (17 hours), Windsor Building in Madrid (24 hours) and many others, there are no instances of melted steel or collapse. Even the North Tower of the World Trade Center had a serious fire in 1975 that burned on seven floors for three hours before being extinguished. This resulted in the installation of sprinkler systems in the towers. Yet WTC 1 collapsed less than two hours after being struck, WTC 2 collapsed less than one hour after being struck, and WTC 7 collapsed less than seven hours after WTC 1 collapsed. Note that the South Tower's core structure was largely undamaged by the off-centered jet impact, unlike the North Tower, yet it collapsed sooner. No skyscraper fire in history ever resulted in complete collapse, yet here are three occurring all on the same day. Explosive Residue The only explanation of the melted structural steel in the WTC is that controlled demolition severed the internal supports. Melted steel is typical of steel cutting charges such as thermite, HMX and RDS. These are routinely used to cut/melt steel in building demolitions and leave evidence such as over 1000C temperatures and sulfidation. This is exactly what was identified in a peer-reviewed paper titled An Initial Microstructural Analysis of A36 Steel from WTC Building 7. Sulfidation was also observed in structural steel samples found from both WTC 7 and one of the WTC Towers, as reported in Appendix C of the FEMA report. However, NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) did not conduct any tests for residue of explosive compounds of any kind in the debris. The scientific paper Active Thermitic Material Discovered in Dust from the 9/11 World Trade Center Catastrophe conclusively shows the presence of unignited aluminothermic explosives in dust samples from the Twin Towers, whose chemical signature matches previously documented aluminothermic residues found in the same dust samples. The implications of the discovery of unspent explosives and matching residues in World Trade Center dust are staggering. There is no conceivable reason for there to have been tons of high explosives in the Towers except to demolish them, and demolition is blatantly incompatible with the official 9/11 narrative that the skyscrapers collapsed as a result of the jetliner impacts and fires.

In November of 2007, Dr. Steven Jones a Physicist and Archaeometrist, having earlier shown the presence of aluminothermic residues in World Trade Center dust samples in the form of solidified iron-rich droplets, announced his discovery of particles of unreacted thermitic materials, in the form of bi-layered chips with gray and red layers using analytical instruments such as scanning electron microscopy with X-ray energydispersive spectroscopy and differential scanning calorimetry. The chips, which are attracted by a magnet, have about the thickness of an eggshell but are much tougher. The red layers have elemental compositions similar to commercial thermite, and to the iron-rich droplets, according to Jones, with spikes for oxygen, iron, aluminum, potassium, and silicon. Jones describes experiments in which the chips burn vigorously when ignited by a torch. The discovery of active thermitic materials adds to a vast body of evidence that the total destruction of the Towers were controlled demolitions, and to the subset of that evidence indicating the use of aluminothermic materials to implement those demolitions. Witnesses of Demolition Explosions Multiple loud explosions in rapid sequence were reported by numerous witnesses just prior to the collapse. The explosions were not caused by jet fuel; even Dr. Shyam Sunder, Lead Investigator for NIST stated: The jet fuel probably burned out in less than 10 minutes. Firemen and others described flashes and explosions in upper floors near where the plane entered, and in lower floors of WTC 2 just prior to collapse, far below the region where the plane had struck the tower. At the start of the collapse of the South Tower, a Fox News anchor reported: There is an explosion at the base of the building white smoke from the bottom something happened at the base of the building! Then another explosion. Firefighter Edward Cachia independently reported: [We] thought there was like an internal detonation, explosives, because it went in succession, boom, boom, boom, boom, and then the tower came downIt actually gave at a lower floor, not the floor where the plane hit. Assistant Fire Commissioner Stephen Gregory stated: When I looked in the direction of the Trade Center before it came down, before No. 2 came down, I saw low-level flashes. In my conversation with Lieutenant Evangelista, never mentioning this to him, he questioned me and asked me if I saw low-level flashes in front of the building, and I agreed with him because I thought at that time I didnt know what it was. I mean, it could have been as a result of the building collapsing, things exploding, but I saw a flash, flash, flash and then it looked like the building came down. Q. Was that on the lower level of the building or up where the fire was? A. No, the lower level of the building. You know like when they demolish a building, how when they blow up a building, when it falls down? Thats what I thought I saw. And I didnt broach the topic to him, but he asked me. He said I dont know if Im crazy, but I just wanted to ask you because you were standing right next to me He said did you see any flashes? I said, yes, well, I thought it was just me. He said no, I saw them, too... In addition to eyewitness testimony regarding explosions, videos of the Twin Towers collapse show several small explosions erupting from the sides of the building. The official version of these explosions is: The falling mass of the building compressed the air ahead of it, much like the action of a piston, forcing material, such as smoke and debris But the problem is that the explosions were ten to twenty floors below the exploding rubble cloud. Also, the explosions were symmetrical, as typically seen in building demolitions.

Symmetrical Collapse The official FEMA 9-11 report, even though it is rife with incompetence such as the complete omittance of the destruction of Building 7, does manage to cite a striking anomaly regarding the North Tower collapse: Review of videotape recordings of the collapse taken from various angles indicates that the transmission tower on top of the structure began to move downward and laterally slightly before movement was evident at the exterior wall. This suggests that collapse began with one or more failures in the central core area of the building. To put it plainly, the 47 enormous steel core columns of the building were severed simultaneously as the result of controlled demolition in order to insure that the buildings did not topple, but instead collapsed vertically. The collapse of all three buildings was near symmetrical, which should not have been the case since the damage was clearly non-symmetrical. The mass of debris remained centered on the building core all the way down the path of maximum resistance. The towers should have fallen with increasing eccentricity as the collapse progressed, writes licensed Professional Engineer Howard Pasternack. These systematic collapses required that many structural connections not only fail nearly simultaneously, but also in sequential order, wrote Frank Cullinan, P.E. Thats impossible from asymmetrical impact loading and... small, short-duration fires. Engineers find it impossible to believe the governments claim that scattered fires brought about such an orderly collapse. Failure of heat-weakened steel would show large deflection, asymmetric and local failure, and slow progress. Never before has a smaller object (the light-weight, upper, actually non-rigid, flexible steel structure consisting of many smaller parts) destroyed the bigger and stronger other object (the complex steel structure below) with only the assistance of gravity. Rate of Collapse The elapsed time of the collapse was nearly identical to the time it would take a free-falling object to reach the ground from the same height. Without cutter charges to sever internal supports, the rate of collapse of the buildings defies the laws of physics in particular, the conservation of momentum. As upper floors fall and strike lower floors and support columns, the fall must be significantly impeded by the impacted mass. As the larger, lower central support columns remain standing, then the effective resistive mass decreases. But this was not the case somehow the enormous support columns failed/disintegrated along with the falling floor pans. The contradiction is ignored by FEMA, NIST and 9/11 Commission Reports where conservation of energy, momentum and fall-times were not analyzed. Based on video and photographic evidence, and FEMA's mapping of the widespread debris field, each Tower appears to have been progressively and systematically exploded from the top down, starting from the impact zone. The explosive sequence was apparently timed to occur at a pace close to free-fall, thus allowing the falling debris to obscure the continuing explosions. There are only two ways a building can be destroyed at the rate of free fall: 1. All structural support is simultaneously removed at the foundation level. All other parts of the building will then begin to fall at the same moment and at the same rate. This method is commonly used in controlled demolitions of large buildings. One advantage of this approach is that it minimizes damage to neighboring buildings. WTC Building 7 is a textbook example.

2. Timed explosives progressively destroy the building from the top down at the rate of free fall, while simultaneously removing resistance in advance of the falling debris. This is not the way controlled demolitions are typically done, although tall chimneys are sometimes destroyed this way. This was the method used to destroy the Twin Towers, so as to hide the necessary explosions in such tall structures. Pulverized Concrete Explosives also readily account for the pulverization of the falling Twin Towers to fine dust as the collapse ensues. Rather than a piling up with shattering of concrete as we might expect from non-explosive-caused progressive collapse, the official theory, we find that most of the Towers construction material and content is converted to flour-like powder while the buildings are falling. A striking feature of the Towers destruction was the pulverization of most of the concrete into gravel and dust before it hit the ground. This is evident from the explosive mushrooming of the towers into vast clouds of concrete as they fell. Also the fact that virtually no large pieces of concrete were found at Ground Zero, only twisted pieces of steel despite the presence of 400,000 cubic yards of concrete in each tower. It was all pulverized into dust by explosions. Videos show that the upper part of the South Tower began to tip during the initiation of its destruction. However, instead of continuing this rotation as would be expected from a rigid structure according to the law of conservation of angular momentum, the rotation actually stops as it disintegrates before falling into the structure below. Without this unexplained disintegration, this upper block of floors would have toppled to the side and crashed to the ground as an intact structure. Watching the videos of WTC 2 with this in mind is very revealing especially if compared with what happens when everything does not go perfect in a building demolition and it just topples. Examples of this can be found by searching for demolition fail on YouTube. The Towers collapses are not typical random collapses, but a series of shock-and-awe explosions coupled with the use of thermate incendiaries. The huge outward arching dust plumes exhibited during the destruction of each Tower not only defy gravity, they are an unmistakable signature characteristic of high explosives. So thorough and consistent was the destruction of the Twin Towers, that no remains of the distinctive web trusses are recognizable in hundreds of photographs of the rubble in various stages of excavation. The explosions projected material out into an area 1200 feet in diameter. The explosions helped obscure evidence by basically vaporizing everything that wasnt steel. At the end of the first week, a fireman from Brooklyn bluntly recalled his frustration and awe at how little was left. He had just completed a 24-hour shift. You have 10-story buildings that leave more debris than these two 100-story towers. Where the f___ is everything? A serious week-long search and weve found 200 [bodies] in a pile of 5,000? Whats going on? Where is everyone? Why arent we finding more bodies? Cause its all vaporized turned to dust. Were breathing people in that dust. * * Note that it takes exposure to 1400-1800F for at least two hours to cremate a body. Of the 1,401 people identified, 673 of the IDs were based on DNA alone. Only 293 intact bodies were found. As many as 200 remains have been linked to a single person something that would not be caused by fire. This means that over 2450 bodies were literally disintegrated by explosives. No Plane Hit WTC Building 7 The destruction of WTC 7 did not receive much media coverage at all, and it was completely omitted from the official FEMA Report. Few people even realize that this 47-story building was the third skyscraper to

collapse on 9/11, only seven hours after WTC 1 fell. It was located 300 feet from the plaza, with another smaller building in-between. Beyond the fact that no plane hit this building, there are several other indicators of controlled demolition: Videos of the collapse show the entire building dropping simultaneously, taking only 6.5 seconds for the roof to reach the ground. This is almost the same speed an object dropped from the roof would achieve in free-fall. For this to happen, all 58 perimeter columns and all 25 core columns must have been cut simultaneously at the foundation level. Streamers of smoke, suggestive of demolition charges, emerge from the buildings facade during the collapse. The rubble pile was centered almost entirely on the buildings footprint and was less than four stories high.

Rather than dismantle the debris field to learn what could possibly have resulted in the destruction of the building so quickly and thoroughly, it was immediately hauled away and melted or sold to scrap metal vendors to ship to India and China. This effectively removed evidence of the crime. Bill Manning, editor of the 125-year-old Fire Engineering Magazine, wrote in an article condemning the operation: Did they throw away the locked doors from the Triangle Shirtwaist fire? Did they throw away the gas can used at the happy land social club fire? ... Thats what theyre doing at the World Trade Center. The destruction and removal of evidence must stop immediately. Dr. Frederick W. Mowrer, an associate professor in the Fire Protection Engineering Department at the University of Maryland, was quoted in the New York Times as saying: I find the speed with which potentially important evidence has been removed and recycled to be appalling. Explosive Requirements If we accept the logical conclusion of these facts, that explosives were used to demolish the buildings, then an obvious question is: how much explosive material was required? By way of comparison, we can look at a contemporary building demolition the Landmark Tower in Ft. Worth, Texas. It was constructed in 1957 and demolished in 2006. This building had 30 stories 380 feet tall. The explosive charges used to bring it down weighed only 364 pounds [165 kilograms], consisting of 198 pounds of 60-percent nitroglycerinebased gel in 1-1/4 inch sticks, and 166 pounds of RDX (a C-4 derivative). Scaling this requirement to the 110-story WTC Towers, roughly 1300 pounds (590 kg) of explosives per Tower would suffice. Scaling to the size of WTC 7, only 570 pounds (260 kg) would be needed. However, the fact that the Twin Towers exploded into vast clouds of pulverized concrete, hurling steel assemblies in all directions shows that they were destroyed with much more energy than a conventional demolition. That gave the planners far more leeway in the placement of charges required to totally destroy the buildings. Core columns would have been easily accessed through service wells between walls and above ceilings completely out of view. Computer-controlled radio signals could easily have been used to begin the explosive demolition near the planes point of entry in the Towers and make it appear that the planes initiated the collapse. Planned Vulnerabilities An article in New York Newsday documented the removal of bomb-sniffing dogs just five days before the attack: The World Trade Center was destroyed just days after a heightened security alert was lifted at the

landmark 110-story towers, security personnel said yesterday. Daria Coard, 37, a guard at Tower One, said the security detail had been working 12-hour shifts for the past two weeks because of numerous phone threats. But on Thursday, bomb-sniffing dogs were abruptly removed. Security for the World Trade Center on 9/11/01 was provided by Stratesec, a company in which George W. Bush's brother Marvin was a past principal, and which was backed by a Kuwaiti-American investment firm. For 40 years prior to 9/11, a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) rule had allowed commercial airlines pilots to carry firearms in the cockpit. The rule was adopted in the wake of the 1961 Cuban missile crisis as a measure to prevent hijackings. Just two months prior to 9/11, the FAA rescinded this rule. Multiple war exercises were being conducted by the U.S. military on 9/11. These include: Operation Northern Vigilance, Vigilant Warrior, Vigilant Guardian, Global Guardian, National Reconnaissance Office Plane Crash Drill, Timely Alert II Terrorism Drill and the Tripod II Biowarfare Exercise. The limited public information on these exercises shows that they simulated hijackings and attacks on buildings using aircraft as missiles and attacks using toxic or infectious substances. These events are all elements of the actual attack, which involved four alleged hijackings, three jetliner crashes into buildings, and the toxic calamity at Ground Zero in the wake of the destruction. These exercises masked actual events as they unfolded until it was too late to stop them. Evidence of Pre-Knowledge On the days leading up to 9/11, two airlines saw a huge increase in their put to call ratio. These two airlines were United Airlines and American Airlines, the two airlines whose planes were hijacked on 9/11. Between September 6 and 7, the Chicago Board Options Exchange saw purchases of 4,744 put option contracts in UAL versus 396 call options. On September 10, more trading in Chicago saw the purchase of 4,516 put options in American Airlines, the other airline involved in the hijackings. This compares with a mere 748 call options in American purchased that day. No other airline companies saw anomalies in their put to call ratio in the days leading up to the attacks. Insurance companies saw anomalous trading activities as well. Citigroup Inc., which has estimated that its Travelers Insurance unit may pay $500 million in claims from the World Trade Center attack, had about 45 times the normal volume during three trading days before the attack for options that profit if the stock falls below $40. Citigroup shares fell $1.25 in late trading to $38.09. Morgan Stanley, which occupied 22 floors at the World Trade Center, experienced larger-than-normal pre-attack trading of options that profit when stock prices fall. Other companies that were directly affected by the tragedy had similar jumps. Raytheon, a defense contractor, had an anomalously high number of call options trading on September 10th. A Raytheon option that makes money if shares are more than $25 each had 232 options contracts traded on the day before the attacks, almost six times the total number of trades that had occurred before that day. Computer systems in the World Trade Center processed an unusually high volume of credit card transactions in the minutes before the planes crashed into the towers on 9/11. The computer systems were destroyed in the subsequent collapses of the towers. Although details of the surge remain unknown, reports speculate that the transactions may have amounted to more than $100 million in value, with both the volume and sizes of transactions surging.

Jim Pierce, cousin of President Bush, was scheduled to attend a conference on the 105th floor of the South Tower on 9/11/01, where his company's New York offices were based. But the conference was moved across the street to the Millennium Hotel, because, the story goes, the group was too large. The Zim American-Israeli Shipping Co. broke a lease in order to vacate the World Trade Center just days before the attack according to reporter Christopher Bollyn. His source claims that Zim's lease extended through the end of the year and that the termination cost $50,000. The New York Times reported that Silverstein Properties had planned to meet on 9/11/01 on the 88th floor of one of the towers to discuss what to do in the event of a terrorist attack, but cancelled the meeting the night before because one participant could not attend. Planted Evidence According to ABC News and the Associated Press, the passport of hijacker Satam Al Suqami was found only a few blocks from the WTC. The Guardian was skeptical: the idea that [this] passport had escaped from that inferno unsinged [tests] the credulity of the staunchest supporter of the FBI's crackdown on terrorism. It seems incredibly convenient that a hijacker passport would turn-up so easily. However, just look at what was recovered at another crash site Hijacked United Airlines flight 93 crashed straight into the ground at high speed in Pennsylvania in a ball of fire, leaving a 10-foot deep crater and little to no visible plane wreckage. Yet the following evidence, which was presented at the trial of the United States vs. Zacarias Moussaoui, was amazingly found at that site: a Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ID card, Saudi Arabian Youth Hostel Association ID for Ahmed A. A. Al-Nami, part of Ahmed A. A. Al Nami's Florida driver's license, page 37 and part of U.S. visa page from Ziad Jarrah's passport, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia passport for Saeed A. A. Al Ghamdi, business card of Assem Jarrah, two passport-sized photos of other hijackers, and one of the red bandanas completely unblemished that all the hijackers wore when they seized control of the plane according to passenger phone calls during the flight. All of these pieces of evidence miraculously survived, but only 600 pounds of human remains were recovered in 1500 pieces equaling only 8% of the total. It certainly appears that someone wanted to make sure that there was plenty of evidence pointing toward hijackers. Following the Dollars When investigating a crime for leads, the first step is to see who benefitted from it The World Trade Center complex came under the control of a private owner for the first time only in mid2001, just prior to the crime. The buildings had previously been built and managed by the Port Authority as a public resource. The complex was leased to a partnership of Silverstein Properties and Westfield America. The new controllers then acquired a handsome insurance policy for the complex, including a clause that would prove extremely valuable: in the event of a terrorist attack, the partnership could collect the insured value of the property, and be released from their obligations under the 99-year lease. This privatization of the WTC was omitted from the official 9/11 Commission Report. Author Don Paul investigated this and related issues for his 2002 book, which contains the following passage detailing financial aspects and ownership changes of the complex preceding the attack: The partners winning bid was $3.2 billion for holdings estimated to be worth more than $8 billion. JP Morgan Chase, a prestigious investment-bank that is the flagship firm of its kind for Rockefeller family interests,

advised the Port Authority, another body long influenced by banker and builder David Rockefeller, his age then 85, in the negotiations. The lead partner and spokesperson for the winning bidders, Larry Silverstein, age 70, already controlled more than eight million square feet of New York City real estate. WTC 7 and the nearby Equitable Building were prime among these prior holdings. Larry Silverstein also owned Runway 69, a nightclub in Queens that nine years prior was alleged to be laundering money made through sales of Laotian heroin. In December 2003, the Port Authority agreed to return all of the $125 million in equity that the consortium headed by Silverstein originally invested to buy the lease on the World Trade Center. The Port Authority rejected a request by the Wall Street Journal to review the transaction. A press report from November 2003 about the same transaction noted that it would allow Silverstein to retain development rights. The lease deal didnt close until July 24th just 6 weeks before the attack. Don Paul also documented the money flows surrounding the loss of WTC Building 7. In February of 2002 Silverstein Properties won $861 million from Industrial Risk Insurers to rebuild on the site of WTC 7. Silverstein Properties estimated investment in WTC 7 was $386 million. So this buildings collapse resulted in a profit of about $500 million. The insurance money involved in the destruction of the original six World Trade Center buildings was far greater. Silverstein hired Willis Group Holdings Ltd. to obtain enough coverage for the complex. Willis undertook frenetic negotiations to acquire insurance from 25 carriers. The agreements were only temporary contracts when control of the WTC changed hands on July 24. After the attack, Silverstein Properties commenced litigation against its insurers, claiming it was entitled to twice the insurance policies value because, according to a spokesman for Mr. Silverstein, the two hijacked airliners that struck the 110-story twin towers September 11th were separate occurrences for insurance purposes, entitling him to collect twice on $3.6 billion policies. This was reported in the Bloomberg News less than one month after the attack. The ensuing legal battle between the leaseholders and insurers of the World Trade Center was not about how the 9/11/01 attack on the WTC could be considered two attacks, when the WTC was only destroyed once. Rather it seemed to revolve around whether the beneficiaries thought it was one or two occurrences. The proceedings before U.S. District Judge John S. Martin involved a number of battles over the insurers discovery rights regarding conversations about this issue between insurance beneficiaries and their lawyers. In December 2004, a jury ruled in favor of the holders double claim. To put this in perspective, imagine that a person leases an expensive house, immediately takes out an insurance policy covering the entire value of the house, specifically covering bomb attacks. Six weeks later two bombs go off, separated by an hour. The house is destroyed, and the person immediately sues the insurance company to pay him twice the value of the house and wins. Then the person gets the city to dispose of the wreckage, excavate the site, and help him build a new house there. Very few people know that the basement of 4 World Trade Center housed vaults used to store gold and silver bullion. Reports describing the contents of the vaults before the attack suggest that nearly $1 billion in precious metals was stored in the vaults. A figure of $650 million in a National Real Estate Investor article published after the attack is apparently based on pre-attack reports. On November 1, Mayor Rudolph Giuliani announced that more than $230 million worth of gold and silver bars stored in a bomb-proof vault had been recovered. Why is there a huge discrepancy between the value of gold and silver reported

recovered, and the value reported to have been stored in the vaults? There are a number of possible explanations, from outright theft using the attack as cover, to insurance fraud. Until there is a genuine investigation that probes all the relevant facts and circumstances surrounding the attack, we can only speculate. But Silverstein Properties wasnt the only group that benefitted from 9/11 the U.S. Government profited tremendously. On September 10, 2001 the day before the attack Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld held a press conference to disclose that over $2 trillion in Pentagon funds could not be accounted for. Rumsfeld stated: According to some estimates, we cannot track $2.3 trillion in transactions. Such a disclosure would normally have made headlines and sparked a huge scandal. However, the commencement of the attack on New York City and Washington the very next morning assured that the story remained buried. To the trillions already missing from the coffers, an obedient Congress terrorized by anthrax attacks would add billions more in appropriations to fight the War on Terror. The Comptroller of the Pentagon at the time of the attack was Dov Zakheim. He had been appointed in May of 2001. Before becoming the Pentagons money-manager, he was an executive at System Planning Corporation, a defense contractor specializing in electronic warfare technologies including remotecontrolled aircraft systems. Zakheim is a member of the Project for a New American Century and participated in the creation of its 2000 position paper Rebuilding Americas Defenses which called for a New Pearl Harbor. There is no question that 9/11 served as the Pearl Harbor of our generation galvanizing public support for war spending and paving the way for new anti-terrorism laws. Government Oppression Beyond using 9/11 to obscure rampant Pentagon spending, it also plunged the nation into a war and was used to justify a tremendous amount of legislation giving the government vastly increased authority above and beyond constitutionally-established limits. Some of that legislation included: the U.S. Patriot act, Homeland Security Act, Military Commissions Act, Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act, and many others including the National Defense Authorization Act of 2012 which allows indefinite detention of Americans without trial. Many changes are required to curtail the government which would use 9/11 as a pebble to start a landslide of oppression. One example of needed change is congressional term limitations. Other changes involve the drastic reduction of federal authority and budget. It is the inherent right of the People of the United States to require transparency and honesty from their government. If the U.S. government will not respond to the will of the people, then it is up to our judicial branch to enforce change exactly as is being done by the challenging the 2012 National Defense Authorization Act in court. Unfortunately, that has not yet stopped this heinous act One recent victim is former Marine Brandon Raub, 26 years old, who was taking into custody by FBI, Secret Service and Chesterfield Virginia County Police on August 16th, 2012 after making 9-11 truth posts on his Facebook page. Is the government trying to make an example of Raub to strike fear into other Americans who know and spread the truth? Who is next on their list? Are you in danger by even reading this? Are they going to force us into concentration camps, put us in gas chambers and then burn the bodies? Have courage! Just as the NSDAP failed, so will any similar effort. I am willing to stand for the truth, and there are countless more just like me. Then take a look at the U.S. national

defense budget, which is obscene. The war mongering and crimes against humanity by our government must stop. It is difficult for many of us to fathom the psychopathic mindset that would use death and destruction for profit and control. But that doesnt mean it didnt happen on 9/11, or even today. We must accept these facts, and enact the changes required to be certain it never happens again. Thousands have lost their lives, and the rest of us are losing our tax dollars and freedom. But we must not cower in fear. In the words of Thomas Jefferson: When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty. We can help America to become a nation worthy of respect. We must return the government to its rightful position as servant not overlord of the People. We the People of the United States of America demand truth and liberty!
