Artikel Global Warming Pemanasan global adalah adanya proses peningkatan suhu rata-rata atmosfer, laut, dan daratan

Bumi.

Global Warming Articles Global warming is the process of increasing the average temperature of the atmosphere, oceans and the Earth's land. Global average temperature at Earth's surface has risen 0.74 C 0:18 (1:33 0:32 F) during the last hundred years. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) concluded that: "most of the increase in global average temperatures since the mid-20th century most likely caused by increased concentrations of greenhouse gases due to human activities" via the greenhouse effect. These basic conclusions have been advanced by at least 30 scientific and academic bodies, including all the national science academies of the G8 nations. However, there are still some scientists who disagree with some conclusions that the IPCC noted. Climate models referenced by the IPCC projects show global surface temperature will rise 1.1 to 6.4 C (2.0 to 11.5 F) between 1990 and 2100. The difference in estimates was caused by the use of different scenarios of greenhouse gas emissions greenhouse gases in the future, as well as models of different climate sensitivities. Although most studies have focused on the period up to 2100, warming and sea level rise is expected to continue for more than a thousand years even if greenhouse gas emission levels have been stable. This reflects the large heat capacity of the oceans. Increasing global temperatures are expected to lead to other changes such as rising sea levels, increased intensity of extreme weather phenomena, and changes in the number and pattern of precipitation. Consequences of global warming is another character of agricultural output, loss of glaciers, and the extinction of various animal species. what can we do to prevent global warming?? 1. Reducing fossil fuel consumption drastically Fossil fuels are considered as the culprit of global warming due to burning that produces CO2. One is a car that is considered problematic. Therefore, many kelingkungan based organizations that prohibit the use of cars. 2. Reducing deforestation deforestation or forest destruction resulting in the disruption of the ability of forests to absorb CO2 in addition to the increased possibility of flooding and landslides. For that we need effort to replant the barren forests (reforestation).

3. Enforce motor vehicle emission standards Since the 1990s, countries in Europe have imposed a motor vehicle emission standards, called the Euro. Its function is to supply the cars have exhaust emissions more or less the same. Consequently, vehicles that do not meet applicable emission standards are required to pay more taxes. Until now, Euro IV standards have been applied and will soon be replaced by Euro V, while in Indonesia has just started Euro II. 4. Improving public awareness of waste and environment How great a global warming reduction plan, without the support of society, everything is in vain. Why? Because of society that played an active role in tackling the greenhouse effect. Without active community participation impossible greenhouse effect can be minimized. 5. Sanctions emissions In accordance with the contents of the Kyoto Protocol, that the developed countries that produce emissions higher than the quota required to pay a fine which will then be distributed to third world countries for their infrastructure development. On the one hand, this way either, because it can bring powerful countries like the United States to keep the amount of emissions discharged into nature. But on the other hand, if the country is rich and selfish, they only pay a fine of not caring and trying to reduce the level of emissions.
