Process:

On Google I found two images, first the image of the foggy forest then the image of the girl with the umbrella. I opened the forest image into Photoshop then added on top the image of the girl and umbrella. Adding a Mask in Photoshop I was able to use the paint brush tool to blend the second picture in. I also put a filter on the image of the girl, I used a film grain filter from the artistic filters. I then added text changing color of the word Fantasy to make it stick out and last I flattened the image.

With this flier, I redid the text in the title line. I made graduate larger with script font while leaving leadership and conference in the Arial font and smaller. I added contrast by filling in my boxes to be completely black also fixing the spelling and grammatical errors. I made the date, time and place all the same size to emphasis the importance of each aspect. I moved the registration info lower to line with the logo also decreasing its size and grouping it together. I also took the indents out of the two body paragraphs, differentiating them by placing spacing between them.

I took a point and shoot to the Nature Park in Rexburg, Idaho and began by placing different aspects of in house appliances down in the snow. I tried taking this picture as an example of a composition photo. I opened it in Photoshop and cropped my image to make it 6X6 with 150 ppi, using the Lasso tool I selected the bowls, saturated the back ground and added warmth to it by bringing more red into the background. Then I selected a filter on the blanket which was the drawing filter under the artistic filters within the filter gallery. I opened up a new document within Photoshop and moved my photo over and aligned it to have the margins of 1.25 inches on the sides and 2 inches on the top with 3 inces on the bottom.

I went through after the due date and fixed some of the elements so they would have more proximity. I took away the color on the back ground and made sure all my contact information was all in the same spot. I colored the email address purple to go along with repetition in the Logo.

For these Logos I decided to completely redo them. I started out using the pen tool to create ballons and then picked different fonts and distorted them until I got the desired look I wanted. On the last Logo I wanted to just do the initials of the company and when I saw the T curve up I thought the bottom curve in the S would fit perfectly in the T. I then saved the file as a JEPG and used that to place on my blog.

Using the shape tool I drew some circles and used them to decorate the bottom of the stationary and use the circle shape as the watermark in the back ground of the stationary. For the business card I used the same tools but for the back ground used a pen tool to draw a triangle and colored it in then made it transparent behind the lettering. Lastly I added a QR code that links the reader directly to the Voice Liberated website

In Text Wrangler I wrote up my HTML coding and wrote all the text I wanted on the actual webpage. Then I opened my logo in Photoshop and began using the eyedropper to find the hex colors to start making changes to the CSS coding. After that I began playing around with different fonts to see which went well with the Logo. I changed the colors of all the text to match some type of purple whether it is very dark or light. I matched the logos B to the font used for the top heading. When it was finished I took a screen shot and pasted it in a Photoshop document. I then sized the document and saved it as a JPEG.

I scanned the original photo and formatted it within word. I had to crop out some wording on the bottom half of the photo. Then I did some color corrections to really make the colors within the image pop out of the page. I used the color fill eye dropper to match the boxes directly to the image itself. I then used the ruler guides to line up the text so that it was all aligned and presented a good flow within the flier.
