Simple Use Cases

Basic Limiting Basic De-Essing Soft Noise Gating

MODE: LIMIT MODE: LIMIT MODE: EXP

1. Set RELEASE=0.05 (CCW), RANGE=60 (CCW), OUTPUT=0 (12 o’clock)
2. Adjust THRESHOLD until desired gain reduction has been achieved

Side-Chain Limiting/Ducking

2. Adjust THRESHOLD to get about 6-15 dB of gain reduction on “ess” sounds, and
0-1 dB of gain reduction otherwise.
