1. 24-101 V.9: Implements the Preparation and Movement of Air Force Materiel. It establishes policy and procedures for the Air Terminal Operations Center (ATOC). The instruction manual also elaborate on the various work centers of the Air Terminal Operations Center (ATOC); such as Senior controller, Ramp control, Information control, Capability forecasting and Flight/Section Chief. This manual further set standards for certain air transportation operations in areas like Intransit Visibility (ITV), Border Clearance procedures and other miscellaneous operations. 2. 24-101 V.14: This is an Air Force instruction manual designed to set standards for all AF military airlifts Passenger Terminal Operation Center. Since passenger terminal is an image maker of the AMC and USTRANSCOM, it makes an important functional area of the ATOC. This manual comprises of procedures ranging from Passenger terminal general responsibilities, Space- A and R rules, Passenger manifest, Passengers traveling eligibility, Patriot Express (PE) & Category M Flights Show-times/Check-in Times, Special Account Handling (SAH) Procedures and so on. 3. 24-101 V.11 Cargo and Mail policy is designed to establish guidelines for Cargo functional center of the ATOC. 24-101 V11 addresses critical operations of the cargo section such as Cargo/Mail Documentation, Packaging, Marking, and Labeling, pallet build up, special cargo, irregularities in shipment processing, General Requirements for Cargo/Mail Movement and so on. This volume contains procedures and guidance designed to control and monitor movement of cargo/mail throughout the AMC airlift system. These procedures apply to all AMC operated air terminals including those supporting deployed operations. Deployed terminals may deviate from these procedures to accommodate local conditions. However, cargo accountability and safety standards will be maintained 4. DTR 4500.9R Part iii This document is the revised Defense Transportation Regulation (DTR) 4500.9-R, Part III, which is specifically tailored to Mobility. It is issued under the authority of Department of Defense Directive (DODD) 4500.09E, Transportation and Traffic Management. It implements Department of Defense (DOD) policies governing the use of DOD-owned and -controlled aircraft and sealift/airlift and establishes criteria for mobility movement. The document covers areas like: general provisions for mobility movements, mobilization and pre-deployment activities, deployment activities, sustainment activities and redeployment activities.
