Process: First I cropped my background image to 8.5X11, then using the lasso tool I selected an image of my family and added it to the background image, I added a mask then with black paint at 100% Opacity I softened the edges with the soft-edged brush. Next I went to a larger brush at 30% opacity and 30% flow and blended the image even more. After that I sharpened both images and changed the coloring. Last I added text using two different fonts.

Process: I first made my gateway fold in InDesign by splitting the document into four even sections. I then wrote my body copy and pick out images i wanted to use. for my logo I placed in on the front and used the scissors tool to cut the picture in half. I placed it on different sides of the document so that when I printed it out the would come together. I edited my picture and took out the background so I could use it for my text wrap. When I was done I printed it out double sided and made sure it was on short side. after I printed it out I cut down the sides of the logo so they would fit perfectly then I folded the sides in. I then cut the top and bottom off to make it so they lined up just right.
